  1. Both teams were happy to fulfill this meeting on a spare week for Poole as Rye are no more. Leicester stronger tonight with guests. Everyone is happy.
  2. Hearing that Poulner Hill at Ringwood is shut due to an accident. The main way towards Poole from London and most of the UK. Just had a call from shaleshifter who is stuck in it from Southampton. His gps is saying an hour to get through but if the road is blocked..... hopefully no riders caught in it. Harris would come this way as would most Leicester riders. Fingers crossed they are already through it.
  3. As long as we see a meeting as good as the last two, regardless of score, the fans will all go home happy again.
  4. The guests certainly strengthen Leicester. Auty and Wright wouldn’t have scored much. Auty would have been lucky to score. The replacements, if they gate, can both be quick when leading. Happy to take a 2 point win. But feel the margin will be a bit bigger.
  5. Looks like we have been lucky on this heavy rain coming up from the south. Just to the east of us it looks like it’s going to be raining for most of the day. Woke up to something quite unusual. An overcast day. Hope they don’t over water the track. A win tonight will take us up to second in the league, a point behind Swindon with 2 meetings in hand.
  6. Thats right he didn’t need to. Because Wolves had lost their top two to injury. Open goal for the robins and they nearly sliced it wide even then.
  7. Guess we will have to just stick to Freddie. Oh well.....
  8. You be proud of keeping the same team then and leave yet another league title to us. I can live with that.
  9. Agree he scored well tonight. He beat Howe, Mountain, Robson, Wright. Not exactly high class opposition to call it a brilliant performance, but not bad.
  10. Anyway you can’t combine two riders averages. Only individual riders.
  11. Yep. That’s what Swindon fans are currently doing at Blunsdon. Mind you they even do that when the bikes are “racing”.
  12. After the farce of the track a couple of weeks ago, you would have thought the management would have had it put right.
  13. Haven’t had a cheque book for 15 years at least. Gave for the SRBF last week at Poole.
  14. Didn’t realise Auty was at reserve. Thought it was Robson and Mountain.
  15. Yes I am well aware but really let’s be honest here. It would be a massive shock if Leicester managed to win. A different story next Monday against Somerset.
  16. True but Auty is injured, not riding. It won’t make much difference anyway. Result is foregone to be honest.
  17. DC doing his utter best to deflect any talk away from his club who are massively falling apart at the seams this season.
  18. Because its a cancelled meeting being slotted in on a day of convenience for both clubs. Rye were due on Wednesday but as Leicester are riding at Swindon tomorrow Thursday was a good option, especially with a big crowd expected this time of year. Win win all round.
  19. Andersen and Nicholls in average manipulation mode to make their averages more attractive for next season?
  20. And meaning most of the time heats are won from the gate. Poole’s track over Saddlebow 365 days a year.
  21. Trouble is Saddlebow has been dire for a few years now. Buster has a lot to answer for.
  22. Only three points seperating five clubs. A real thriller of a season.
  23. You mean celebrating our victory? Surely that’s what competitive sport is all about?
