What goes around comes around. DC2 has been throwing jibes on the Poole thread for the last 3 months. I will get great joy repaying the compliment. glug glug glug......
-
Doubt you would have won with Bellego. Would have just meant Doyle in heat 15. Your reserves are worse than any other club including most the the Championship.

This from DC2’s twitter feed.

Due to DC2 camped in the Poole thread for the last couple of months gloating as we struggled for form, I take great delight in this 360 degree turnaround. Swindon plummeting out of the playoffs as Pirates start to show what real champions are made of. Allowing Somerset 4 points instead of 3 by not putting up a proper fight stinks. Poor show.

Rosco has given up all hope. Even allowed Somerset an extra point by not using Batchelor or Morris in heat 15. Poor.

Message to DC2. Glug glug glug. Looks like all that gloating on the Poole thread has now come back and bitten you hard on the ass. Yet another defeat for the Robins. Are they trying to set some kind of record?

Are Poole’s team changes fair?
Steve Shovlar replied to DC2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How on earth do you know Matt Ford doesn’t make regular proposals to improve the state of the sport? For all you know he have made many proposals which have or have not been accepted. Many of the proposals which come from this forum are quite frankly ridiculous. From not being though through to simply unaffordable. Take the notion that speedway is a ten pound sport. If this was initiated the sport would be bankrupt have way through a season. Even NL teams charge more. The biggest problem the sport has is the lost generations of fans. Its a blue rinse brigade at every track, with falling attendances due to the fan base litterally dying off. There are very few speedway fans in the 16-35 age group. Get this age group to come out and things will improve. Easier said than done. -

And Poole will always have many more titles, and make the most of being above us this season, in a few weeks time the picture will be very different. -

Not really sure what you expect Matt Ford to do. He only has one voice at the agm and is not on the mc. Do you expect him to throw some meetings to give others a chance? And most certainly the Poole team is not expensive looking at the riders. -

You mixed up your words DC. Surely you want Swindon to ascend to Pooles level, not descend. Though they are making a very good job of the latter recently. -

Like Swindon did with Musiliak. This whole thread has DC2 running scared written all over it. All the P taking he has been doing on every Poole thread looks like it’s going to come back and bite him on his jacksy, very hard. With the robins falling apart at the seams and losing how many away meetings on the bounce? It’s squeeky bum time in the Cook household. -

Utter guff. If the other promoters were as capable as Matt Ford the sport would be in a much more healthier position. But it is being continuously dragged down by promoters who don’t have any savvy whatsoever. You can blame those but would rather blame the one promoter who promotes and actually tries to raise the profile. -
Think Poole will breeze into the playoffs. We have two home meetings in hand.
-
Cough Musielak cough. Don’t forget you can’t combine two riders averages. You can only redeclare or change individual riders with another with a lower average.
-
Agree it’s wide open. Swindon are definately on the slide down unless a couple of changes are made. Somerset, Poole and Belle Vue are three of the 4 imo with the other up for grabs.
-
Only after the playoff final.
-
Eh? You have been calling for his head the last month!

No chance to complete with the weather radar. Unless they ride through heavy rain.
