Swedish GP 2018 Hallstavik
Steve Shovlar replied to Ghostwalker's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Decent enough meeting with a few good races. Magic a cut above the opposition tonight and deserved winner. Shame he just can’t get a bit more consistent. -
Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 4/7/18

These cackers could be moved on easy. Tell them to go in 30 mins as they are on council property and the council reserve the right that trespassers vehicles can be legally damaged and hammers are going to be taken to their motor homes and caravans. A few getting large dings in them will soon get them to bugger off. -

Difference is owned by the charlatans and the other is only leased to them. Certainly I would be worried if Osborne managed to buy Poole Stadium, but its not likely to happen. -

Makes no odds. Osborne doesn’t own Poole Stadium and never will. Bequeathed to the council on the terms that it remains as a sports facility. -
Well I guess “my source” will tell me if it comes about, but I will say that if it does, 2018 would be my last season watching the sport live, which would be a shame.

Why on earth would we want Chris Harris, whose best days with due respect are long gone. Nothing more than a journeyman nowdays and fairly inconsistant with even being that.

Poole v Somerset 27 June 2018
Steve Shovlar replied to Ghosty's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I said to Gary May at this meeting that Vissing is doing the job asked of him by not being here. Gary just laughed about it. I saw him again on Wednesday and I said has Vissing been moved on yet, to which he didn’t answer directly. -
You’re kidding, yes? A four team tournament league? What idiot thought up that? I most certainly wouldn’t be bothered to watch that.
-
It’s already been announced there will be no meeting next Wednesday should England win this afternoon.

Live on BT on Monday evening is the meeting between Leicester and Poole. Weather is set fair. The track leads to gate and go and Poole as a whole have been seriously crap at gating recently. This could be settled by the exit of bend two lap one. Don’t fancy our chances of any win but a point would be good to keep heading towards the playoffs and the 2018 league title. Klindt should be back for this one and knows the track well. Don’t think Jackobsen has seen it. Thoughts?
-
Agree but under current rules this can’t happen. Debts need to be cleared first.
-
Think Harris to Somerset was blocked because he was trying to get out early before Rye had folded. Not that I blame him for trying. Man has to make a living.
-
I hope that some of the Rye House riders get fixed up elsewhere. The only issue is of course is that it will mean other riders have to lose their place. Nature of the business though. Heard that the Rye riders hadn’t been paid for 7 weeks so lets hope they get preferential treatment for any guest bookings that might come along.

Time for the guy to have his sorry ass permanently banned from the forum. -
End of season playoffs to change

Is all this the usual BS or truth? If truth to change the rules mid season is disgraceful. -
None.

Five man teams would make the heats too repetitive. Simple as that.

What is it with Belle Vue fans? Can’t they take defeat gracefully? Your team was beaten fair and square. Sould like the Colombians, blaming the ref, the opposition fans etc. Pathetic! -
I really hope not. It will probably stop me from going.

The ref did. Cooks monster roller the whole stadium saw. Except the ref. Lemon should keep his trap shut. Pirates should have had 60 last night. -

Agree though it will always happen.
