  1. Those are the rules. Always have been
  2. The difference in Poland is significant. One rides for thd equivalent of Tottenham or Liverpool while the other rides for Wigan or Shrewsbury. Woryna, along with Drabik, is about to smash his way onto the Polish national team and no more than a couple of seasons from being in the GP series. I am not saying this because he has signed for Poole. I follow Polish speedway and have watched his progression in the sport and its been impressive. Lambert is a good rider but he was pathetic for TeamGB in the SWC. He didn't do much last season for Lynn other than confront a fan in the crowd who had just about had enough and made his thoughts vocal. Now he says he isn't riding in the UK next season. Buster deciding by the look of it to get rid. Chalk and cheese I am afraid.
  3. I do, and by quite a considerable margin on the world stage. One rides top flight Poland and is in the top 20. The other rides two divisions lower in Poland. Quite a gulf in who they face evey meeting. Having said that, Lambert knows his way around British tracks better than Woryna so I expect him to have a higher average in the UK. If he can be arsed to ride here.
  4. Does Lambert think he’s Woffinden in disguise?
  5. Not sure if the new media company working on Matt Fords behalf is doing this but I have noticed that even in these dark depths of winter the club are putting out news on twitter and other social media on virtually a daily basis. Matt has never been one for the net so perhaps he is finally grasping the bull by the horns and starting to exploit its potential. Also hearing the pop up shop has been a huge success in the Dolphin Centre. I said years ago that the club should have a permanent presence in the high street. A well positioned cafe/bistro serving good quality drinks and food tied in with large screen tvs showing Poole speedway meetings from the last couple of years, and selling merch and tickets. A good meeting place for shoppers and putting Poole Speedway in front and center of Joes Publics eyes.
  6. Get well soon Starman. Might well explain some of his recent posts
  7. Szczpaniak is a much better rider than Stachyra ever was. Number one in the averages above Kenneth Bjerre and Batchelor in Poland. You don’t become number one in a league by being mediocre. I think Woryna will outscore Szczpaniak but then if a rider is averaging above 10 in Poland he should more than capable of averaging over 6 here. And if he does that, it will be job done.
  8. KK to Swindon now? Lol! I am sure he is determined to ride for every UK club.
  9. Don’t think team is accurate. One change.
  10. You couldnt charge £10 fornl and break even. £10 is a nonesense.
  11. If you think the higher standard premier league is worth £10 why do the championship clubs charge £15-17?
  12. He could fit in the Poole team as a second string. But after his “efforts” of last season he will never ride for Poole again, even as a guest.
  13. An even better signing than I thought then! 4.54! Whoop whoop! Starts at reserve and will no doubt clean up. The good news is of course we will always have a big hitter in the reserve berth next season. And if Shanes is the other reserve I am sure he will come on leaps and bounds as well, especially as he has many more meetings lined up next season riding for Sheffield.
  14. Two words. No Doyle. So the team is basically the same but without the world champion. The rider replacing Doyle needs to up his scoring to cover the shortfall, or each team member needs to up their average considerably to be where they were last season. Bellego rode well for the first half of last season but faded to his form outside the UK. No doubt, he suprised everyone with his early season form, especially at Blunsdon. But he got a high average and is brought back with no value in it. Can he improve on it? I have my doubts. Rosco clearly thinks so to bring him in. Swindon do have riders who are going to improve. Morris and Ellis will increase their averages, I have no doubt. But Musiliak and Bellego? I don’t think so. Swindon won the league because Musiliak came in on a very low average. No such luxury this time around. It’s just an opinion of course.
  15. As much as I really like Dan Bewley, they are way, way apart at the moment.
  16. And some Swindon fans had the audacity to slag off the two Poole signings last night. Seriously, where's the value in that signing?
  17. Glad you can see them for what they are. So far we have been swamped by posters who have called the two signings, 'meh', uninspiring, Poundland Poole Pirates, same standard as Huckenbeck, rubbish. I would like to know of a better reserve in the Premier League next year than Woryna.
  18. Spanner is 4.93. The Poole website is wrong.
  19. Pooles final team, which would fit, could be: 1. Brady Kurtz 2. Spanneriak 3. Josh Graczonek 4. Hans Andersen 5. Chris Holder 6. Kacper Woryna 7. James Shanes. just under the points limit.
  20. Rumour is he has resigned for the Robins next season!
  21. Not sure if you are just trying to hide your bitter disappointment about Poole signing these two great riders, or you dont have a clue who they are. Kacper Woryna already has a higher average in the Polish top flight than both Pawlickis, Drabik, Holder, Zagar, Lindgren, Buckowski, KK, Fricke, Milik, Zengota, Kildemand, Thorsell and a host of other top names. In the toughest league in the world. Sure he wont probably score as well as those names over here next season but thats not his job. He is a reserve! To say he is the same as Huckenbeck is frankly embarrassing on your behalf. You clearly don’t have a clue who he is and didn’t watch the Polish league every Sunday to see his ability first hand. As for Spanner, a rider who has improved year on year, to the stage he is now number one in Polish league 1. Solid rider, good gater and very good equipment.
  22. Musiliak. 7.37 starting average in 2018. Woryna. 4.65 starting average in 2018. Musiliak. 45th in the Polish Extraleague averages in 2017. Woryna. 17th in the Polish Extraleague averages in 2017. Yep. Really rubbish signing there by Matt Ford!
  23. With the rider rumoured to come in for the other second string berth, Shanes position might be at risk.
  24. Name me two other sub five pointers with as much potential.
