Two words. No Doyle. So the team is basically the same but without the world champion. The rider replacing Doyle needs to up his scoring to cover the shortfall, or each team member needs to up their average considerably to be where they were last season. Bellego rode well for the first half of last season but faded to his form outside the UK. No doubt, he suprised everyone with his early season form, especially at Blunsdon. But he got a high average and is brought back with no value in it. Can he improve on it? I have my doubts. Rosco clearly thinks so to bring him in. Swindon do have riders who are going to improve. Morris and Ellis will increase their averages, I have no doubt. But Musiliak and Bellego? I don’t think so. Swindon won the league because Musiliak came in on a very low average. No such luxury this time around. It’s just an opinion of course.

No.
-
As much as I really like Dan Bewley, they are way, way apart at the moment.
-
And some Swindon fans had the audacity to slag off the two Poole signings last night. Seriously, where's the value in that signing?
-
Glad you can see them for what they are. So far we have been swamped by posters who have called the two signings, 'meh', uninspiring, Poundland Poole Pirates, same standard as Huckenbeck, rubbish. I would like to know of a better reserve in the Premier League next year than Woryna.
-
Spanner is 4.93. The Poole website is wrong.
-
Pooles final team, which would fit, could be: 1. Brady Kurtz 2. Spanneriak 3. Josh Graczonek 4. Hans Andersen 5. Chris Holder 6. Kacper Woryna 7. James Shanes. just under the points limit.
-
Rumour is he has resigned for the Robins next season!
-
Not sure if you are just trying to hide your bitter disappointment about Poole signing these two great riders, or you dont have a clue who they are. Kacper Woryna already has a higher average in the Polish top flight than both Pawlickis, Drabik, Holder, Zagar, Lindgren, Buckowski, KK, Fricke, Milik, Zengota, Kildemand, Thorsell and a host of other top names. In the toughest league in the world. Sure he wont probably score as well as those names over here next season but thats not his job. He is a reserve! To say he is the same as Huckenbeck is frankly embarrassing on your behalf. You clearly don’t have a clue who he is and didn’t watch the Polish league every Sunday to see his ability first hand. As for Spanner, a rider who has improved year on year, to the stage he is now number one in Polish league 1. Solid rider, good gater and very good equipment.
-
Musiliak. 7.37 starting average in 2018. Woryna. 4.65 starting average in 2018. Musiliak. 45th in the Polish Extraleague averages in 2017. Woryna. 17th in the Polish Extraleague averages in 2017. Yep. Really rubbish signing there by Matt Ford!

With the rider rumoured to come in for the other second string berth, Shanes position might be at risk.
-
Name me two other sub five pointers with as much potential.
-
It also means our other second string will have a very decent starting average. No weak links as such.
-
Not yet. That will come a couple of weeks into next season when 4 pointers start banging in the points. What you have to look at is their starting averages. These riders are not wow riders over here but each of them have starting averages lower than riders they will likely make mincemeat out of. Out of the two Woryna is the bigger talent on a lower average. But when you look at the Polish averages Spanner is number one over riders of the calibre of Bjerre, Batchelor etc. He is not likely to outscore them in the UK but that’s not his job. He has improved massively since his last time over here and a snip on a sub 5 average.
-
Two brilliant signings. Looking very, very good. And with news of another Aussie coming in, we are going to be serious contenders. Kurtz Szczepaniak Chris Holder ? Josh G Kasper Woryna ? Have to say with the points available I am very happy.

Now live on facebook.

Mateusz Szczepaniak (4.93) and Kacper Woryna (4.65) Great signings! Woryna at reserve and Mateusz Szczepaniak at second string. Mateusz Szczepaniak is top of the Polish league one averages ahead of Kenneth Bjerre, Andersen, Batchelor, Mickelsen, Tungate. I don’t expect him to do as well as those but he is a very good gater and has improved considerably since he last rode over here. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/i-liga/statystyki Kacper is a real talent and the next generation of top Polish stars imo. Could well be challenging Josh G for third heat leader come the end of next season. Less than ten points used on two very good riders. Pirates shaping up nicely.
-
They said 8.30 approx but 8.45 is not very approx. Probably enjoying they profiteroles. Or more likely sitting around trying to work out how facebook live works!

Briggo a true gentleman with time for everyone.

For those that want the link, it’s https://www.facebook.com/PoolePirates/

Nice clean new look to the forum.
-
Correct. Its just an announcement Poole fans will find interesting. If anyone is expected Drabik, Dudek or Helium they are going to be disappointed.
-
Telling people clear off Swindon threads? Where have I heard that before? Lol!
-
Agree.
-
Absolutely agree. There will always be haves and have nots. You cant sterilize the sport to such a degree that all teams are equal. Unlike football we already have a points limit in place for equality. To go any further would be frankly ridiculous.
