  1. Seems to be a straight shootout between Tungate and Kurtz. has anyone paid for and watched the live streaming? If its any good I might buy the last round for tomorrow morning.
  2. Thing is, Pirates Bleeding Blue called Gavan out for slagging off Kurtz in the Aussie Championship. Gavan denies he did but it was clear he was having a dig at Kurtz. We all read it on here. But he had to back track and deny he was slagging Kurtz off and ‘we all read it wrong’, after Kurtz has hardly dropped a point all championship. Gavan wasn’t slagging him off after all, even though it looked to everyone else that he was, and that being beaten by a second string etc should never happen, even though it happens in virtually every meeting with any top rider. Pirate Bleeds Blue smack on the money.
  3. Good to know. Norris was a very good rider who only showed his real potential in that brilliant season he had when he really went for it.
  4. Be interesting to see whether they actually cover the whole of the season this time, or just the back end.
  5. I see that Brady went through the card again in the latest round of the Aussie Championship. He really is a cut above the opposition in this event. Got pipped by a fast gating Holder in the final but virtually unbeatable. In fact Holder is the first rider to beat him over 4 laps this championship. The only points Brady has dropped is for an exclusion and EF. Let’s hope he comes into the speedway season over here in similar devastating form and battles to retain his number one berth.
  6. And why do two very long journeys a week to the other end of the country when Poole is just 15 miles up the road?
  7. Both Poles are going to do very well. You should catch up with some Polish meetings on Youtube. Plenty there to see their potential. Think Woryna will be challenging for heat leader next season.
  8. I know you are a fan of Hans but he really is a journeyman nowdays, cramming in as many meetings as possible so he doesn’t need to average high. At times last year he was poor, being beaten easily by the worst rider in the league, Smith, at Belle Vue. younger, more hungry riders needed with the desire to try and win every heat. The time was right for Hans to move on.
  9. Is this Mr Brundle at all related to the ex racing driver Martin Brundle?
  10. Easy to say that but I doubt anyone would have expected KK to be so pathetic. Looking at the lineups Swindon are nowhere near strong enough to retain next season. No big improvers and no big hitting reserves. Looks like last year was a blip and its back to mediocrity for the Robins. While normal service resumed for Pirates? Looking possible.
  11. More a case of DC being extremely bothered about the look of the Poole team that's so far been assembled and hoping against all hope for a chink of light for his beloved Robins. With Leicester already looking stronger than Swindon and Poole likely to match, Swindon might scrape into the playoffs with their current team. But that's about it.
  12. But wasn’t that lifted ? Someone told me a couple of days ago they saw him walking through Poole down towards the quay but I dismissed it as mistaken identity. Perhaps it was him after all.
  13. Hopefully Have big enough gonads to refuse planning permission at every attempt Brandon Estates make.
  14. In which case it could be down to around 7 taking discount into hand. Will ride as a second string if it goes through.
  15. But surely he only wants to ride for Wolves? What is he doing signing for Poole? A Turncoat? What is His current EL average?
  16. Well he hasn’t ridden here for a couple of seasons so there’s some discount there. 7.85 sounds about right.
  17. CH retweeted the Poole twitter video announcing his return. as for this Hancock thing, rings of Hancock/Hamill hock up a while back. Team Exide?
  18. So looking at his twitter, Chris Holder has got himself into a spot of bother.
  19. Shanes plus a rider up to 7.85. Making Chris Holder a second string. So Hampel plus Shanes, or Kolodziej plus shanes, or Madsen plus Shanes fits.
