  1. Gogglegate? How was that Poole breaking the rules? Newmans goggles came apart at the starting gate and rather risk a two minute exclusion decided to ride without them. Not even as serious as a tapes exclusion but opposition fans were trying to jump on anything in desperation. Next you will be saying Poole are cheats because Andersen sometimes gets away with a roller. Truth is Poole haven't allegedly "cheated" for years. Now Swindon on the other hand.................
  2. When was the last time Poole allegedly broke any rules? Years ago with Proctor at Peterborough, which Matt Ford quickly put his hands up to not realising the 5% was only for home fixtures. A genuine mistake sorted next day. Most of the "Poole cheating" is not cheating at all. Swindon now seem the team who are breaking rules and not even owning up to them and trying to get away with it. A simple statement admitting a mistake had been made and requesting the scores be changed would be enough. Instead we get silence from the management with their fans backing the mistake by saying its too late to change the score. Pretty disgraceful to be honest.
  3. Lisa, Gavan doesn't do humour. It was blatantly obvious to everyone bar one or two that my post was humourous.
  4. You should know he is hardly worthy of a response. Trolls the poole threads and stalks my posts. To say we are rubbish proves it as we made the playoffs! And what would he say if we beat Swindon next week to make the final? Still rubbish? Making the final will be a tall order but if we all click together it's not an impossible task.
  5. Troll troll troll troll troll. Poole are in the playoffs. How is that rubbish? Troll!
  6. Well considering Belle Vue will have to track a nl 6 pointer this semi is game over. Wolves fans rubbing their hands together with glee already and straight through to the final winning both legs with ease. What a shame and waste of time this season has been.
  7. So you think Swindon should get an unfair advantage for breaking the rules?
  8. Bjerre should be at Belle Vue. The sec meeting on Monday is a re-arranged meeting from today, regardless of whether a re-arranged date is in any book. So the British play offs take priority.
  9. Surely in the interests of fair play Swindon should demand that BWDs points in that heat be deducted from the scoreline. But all we have had is silence. In fact the "mistake" has been known for a while now but the silence has been deafening from the Swindon management. That alone can only be interpreted that along with many of their fans they are hoping to get away with it. A real shame.
  10. Swindon fans think going through to the final is a foregone conclusion. All the team has to do is turn up and it will be a 20+ points win. It would be fantastic for the sport and justice, if Poole turned up and wrecked the party. And boy would we have some fun on here.
  11. The ref was not to blame. Swindon were to blame by not knowing the rules and failing to use Musialek for three rides. The ref missed it but Swindon made the mistake and are therefore at fault. Agree that if Poole had done this it would be 30 pages long at least. And Grachan, it was an error granted, but errors need to be corrected and not "got away with".
  12. Looks like some Swindon fans don't like to read what many are thinking about the way their club are acting at the moment. The scoreline needs to be adjusted. What if Swindon go through on aggregate by a point? Hardly be fair, would it? Swindon should puf their hands up and come out with a statement that they made an error with the poles rides. Saying nothing looks like they are trying it on. Again.
  13. End of the day BWD turned up to ride. There might have been an issue with paperwork blocking Kyle Newman so BWD bought his bikes in the event Newman was blocked. So basically he was fit to ride but Swindon prefered to use a track specialist guest rather than one of their own. Case rests for the prosecution. Banged to rights.
  14. All this dodgy stuff coming out of Swindon. BWD turning up to ride at Poole but Swindon booked a guest who was better. BWD must be well peed off losing wages so Swindon could gain an advantage in the playoffs. Now not satisfied with that, they continue by only giving the out of form dodgy Pole two rides. Again benefitting as the ref missed it. You couldn't make it up. No wonder people are saying if Swindon win either the league or cup it will be a hollow success which will leave a bad taste in the mouths of every fair minded fan. Never seen so many on social media praying for a Poole victory in the second leg of the playoffs to bring respect and karma back to the sport.
  15. Rob you should put a warning that its not for the squeemish. Poor lad. Looks bad and he could face some time off with that. No wonder he was taken by ambulance to hospital. A particular bugbear of mine. And Tatum, and many others. If there is a tape issue, or unsatisfactory start, the pits gate must not be opened and riders must go straight around to the tapes with no help from mechanics. No re-adjusting clutches or fiddling or tightening chains or pouring a few drips of methenol into the tank. If a mechanic comes onto the track, the rider is disqualified. Simple as that.
  16. Belle Vue got close to Swindon with a very patched up side there. With Cook and Bewley tonight might have been extremely close. Agree that the ref made a mistake with the poles third ride. Guess it will be amended to a 9 point Swindon win for the second leg.
  17. Seems an odd decision. Swindon fans will turn up regardless for this one. Won't entice those that have decided to watch on TV. If the average attendance is 2000 paying the normal amount of £17, means the gate would be 34,000. A extra 1400 fans need to turn up to break even. Doesn't seem great business sense to me.
  18. Well lets be honest here you could count the Swindon fans at Poole on your fingers and toes. Pitiful Swindon support and pretty disgraceful that hardly any made the effort to support their team. I am sure there will be a lot more Poole fans coming up for the second leg to support the Pirates even though the result is a forgone conclusion. As for the crowd at Poole, it was very decent. Not small at all as some on here are trying to say. And when you consider off race night, on tv and weather had been iffy earlier in the day, pretty good considering.
  19. Yes Phil the crowd was good on Monday. Full price, off race night, not the best weather and on tv as well. Shame Swindon didn't bring hardly any fans down to swell it further.
  20. So let me get this right. BWD is injured. Newman gets booked as cover. Fine. But BWD turns up to ride if the paperwork is not in order and Newman can't ride. Hang on a minute. BWD is injured. So why has he turned up to ride? Or was he not injured really and Rosco has been caught out? BWD if injured can't ride so why turn up? Surely if there was an issue Rosco would have been on the phone to Auty or Robson? Swindon banged to rights.
  21. Glad to see a neutral give a summary. The same as you I logged on to expect high praise for a brilliant meeting on a superb race track. But the anti Poole brigade were out in force and couldn't admit that Wimborne Road is one of the best race tracks in the country, as was shown last night. Absolutely. Best league meeting on Tv this season by the proverbial mile. There has been no blue groove at Wimborne Road for years.
  22. I hipeyou are right but personally I think Wolves will blast Belle Vue out of the water at Monmore and go through. Then see off Swindon 54-36ish which will be enough to retain.
  23. He didn't help his cause fist pumping the Swindon supporters on the third bend. Did the job Poole fans knew he would do though, scoring more the BWD would have picked up.
