  1. GP riders without an official average or GP riders who failed to support British speedway last season are a 9. Riders like Woffinden get the average they deserve for deserting British speedway. Quite simple and fair.
  2. Of course he does as does Wozniak on his last legit uk average. Teams are free to sign these riders if they can come to a deal. Pretty sure Poole will have a teamhungry for points and carrying no passengers or journeymen in 2018
  3. My post was aimed at Gavan not you, but I struggle to believe you have ever been to Poole in your life. Where do you live? He rode at number one for Rybnik.
  4. You are almost the sole cause of the Poole thread being blocked the other day. Matt Ford Fan is clearly not a Poole fan although he pretends to be and has probably never been to Wimborne Road in his life. So for the Poole thread to be blocked because the Poole hating troll (you) want to start threatening and calling Poole fans window lickers, and arguing with a pretend Poole fan was down to you and you alone. You have been completely sussed out by Poole fans who know what you are. A mindless troll set out to disrupt any debate Poole fans wish to have about our team. The troll can’t keep away. Only plagues Poole threads.
  5. Yes. He was a number one in Poland. Obvious he was way better than the rider he replaced. Anyone who follows Poish speedway knew he would do well.
  6. If any other club but Poole signed them no one would be saying anything. No one really kicked off when Musiliak signed for Swindon last year. And his signing was no different to Poole signing Woryna, who is a reserve in Poland compared to Musiliak being a number one/heat leader.
  7. It could do. Injuries at the wrong time or riders like kk taking the P. But no journeymen at Poole in 2018.
  8. Are you for real? You ask a question and just over an hour later you call speedway fans names because no one online in that hour has the answer or read the thread. And your short sentence isnt even readable. Idiot in the extreme.
  9. No one could have predicted kk going completely awol. Reckon Poole are going to smash Swindon and most other teams next season. Just my opinion of course. ☠️
  10. Absolutely. The days when his posts were given any credence have long gone due to his trolling of the Poole thread. Even if he attempts to make a valid point its disregarded due to the other garbage he posts on this thread. He never seems to learn though, which is quite strange.
  11. No I could have been clearer. Woffinden should come in as a 9.
  12. I rarely resond to his vitriol. We don’t tolerate it. His posts are reported on a weekly basis and he spends periods banned off the forum but a week or two after returning he is back to his old ways. Never seems to learn.
  13. You posted, “As Adam Ellis dad said he doesnt miss the window lickers that seem to support Poole........” Jonny the spud didn’t actually call poole fans window lickers. He said “on the poole thread.” You turned it into ‘fans who support Poole.’ So you are calling Poole fans window lickers which should be an automatic permanent ban. Frankly you are a disgrace. I have ignored your posts because I knew after you had come back from a months ban recently it would only take a few weeks before you erupted again on here. You seriously have anger management issues and need to seek some type of help.
  14. Rob mccaffrey is a sad bitter man who posts the same crap about me everytime. Its hilarious hence my like.
  15. Decent side. Will do much better than previous seasons and do well at home. On another note has the other bend been done this winter?
  16. There’s no need to asses anyone other than GP riders who haven’t ridden here for a year. They all come in one a 9. That should be it. Otherwise you are opening up a whole new minefield of dodgyness, with some fans feeling victimised that a particular rider is being over assessed. If a rider has an average from riding here in the past then that should be used. Swindon with Musiliak, Wolves with Woffinden. They had an average, which was used. Should KK have been re-assesed back to 8.5 when joining Rye from Poole? Of course not.
  17. Knowledge has nothing to do with it. It is the bile and abuse he posts on Poole threads which is the problem.
  18. I am really looking forward to the Swindon v Poole cashes in 2018.
  19. Might also be a good move to not be able to change your name on here. The name registered is it. No. I am not.
  20. Rather than block the Poole thread why not just ban Gavan? Calling Poole fans window lickers and having one of his usual rants and decent Poole fans get penalised? Phil should just ban the perpetrators and let us true fans enjoy the forum.
  21. I had a £250 bet on Poole winning the league a few years ago at 100/1. Then the bspa changed the rules from 6 in the playoffs to 4. My bet was refunded by Ladbrokes as the rules had changed but if it had come off I would have been £25,250 better off.
  22. Of course you wouny but highlighting just how tiny the BT offer is. Really getting 1000 subscriptions worldwide shouldnt be impossible.
  23. If BT up their offer by 25%, that would mean a further £750 per meeting. And I guess they would throw in some stickers and pens with bt logo on them as well as a show of goodwill? The bspa should turn such a derisory offer down flat. Rather refuse the contract than actually lose money on a deal which would only benefit one party. Clubs would just lose too much money on the deal. Better to walk away and set up a ppv internet channel. Whilst I understand that the internet connections would certainly not be good enough for a tv channel, it should be good enough for the internet. We are not talking 1080p hd streaming. Bspa could then tap into the Polish market as well as the uk fanbase. A fiver to watch a selected Premiership meeting or 20 a month for 4 or 5 live streams would be decent value to fans. 100 subscriptions, which is nothing, would bring in £2000 more than what BT are offering. 200 watching and 7000 pounds more. Obviously costs need to come out but a fast Virgin broadband stream would be adequate. Makes far more sense than BT taking the P.
  24. Dont see a mess at all. I deal with similar situations on an almost daily basis. Its called negotiations and its clear most on this forum would be pretty rubbish at it. Calm, steady, determination to succeed and get the best deal is the order of the day. Many on here would take what they are offered and be happy with their lot. To be a successful negotiator you have to be able to push it to the nth degree without the deal collapsing in a complete disaster. There is bound to be some form of intransigence but both parties want a deal. BT to fill a gap in their summer schedules which will allow them to sell advertising and subscriptions, and the BSPA to showcase their product. BT have started negotiations with a ridiculously low offer, in the hope the majority of promoters will bite and take the deal. Luckily there are some promoters with business savvy minds who can see this is not a fair deal. Like in any deal, from buying a used car to buying a house, we dont offer the asking price on the windscreen or in the estate agents window. We come in low and study the reaction. BT negotiators are doing exactly this. They have made an offer, stepped back and waited. They know, before negotiations have actually started, what price they will be prepared to go up to. Anything less than this is good. The closer it gets to this price the less good it gets. They are lucky that Sky are not also bidding, as that would be a completely different scenario. Another point not brought up is that Polish tv take the feed and broadcast the meetings. They dont get this for free. They also pay for the privilege. Where does that money go? BT or BSPA? The BSPA want the best possible price, full stop. It will probably end up at a price all members will agree on, but it has to be a lot better than the current pitiful offer. I hope a deal can be struck. I enjoy the bonus of watching an extra speedway meeting a week on to of the Swedish and Polish meetings and the live meetings I attend.
