Morris is a slow burner improved year on year and will end up at the top end. Kurtz though has a little more flare about him and is more likely to make a bigger impact on the world stage. Seems to have a bit more Crump like gritty determination about him. He has inexplicable bad meetings thrown in with some blinders. Out of the two would rather have Kurtz any day. Lower starting average certainly helps but plenty of improvement to come. Swindon fans would say the same about Morris.

BT probably pay the catering company 3K to turn up and provide food for the crew. Its a miniscule offer really not worthy of consideration. UK speedway will do better getting an in-house production team to do live ppv streaming. Sabmartv in Poland show what can be done.

Poole are going to be a very strong outfit in 2018. Even if Brady starts at number one he might not be in that spot after a month.

Greyhounds would not exist but for gambling. Its not really a sport. No one goes along to support a dog. Netball is no more than a jolly school sportfor girls and again rowing nothing more than an elite sport which only has passing interest when the olympics take place. Speedway for all its sins has a proper league structure snd a fanbase. It has clubs which are connected to towns. The bspa are right to ask for more than 3k. The 18k it costs to broadcast is irrelevant. Bt need live sports and a repeat of the 1993 cricket Gillette cup semi final will hardly have good viewing figures. 3k is seriously a joke of an offer and an insult. I spend that on my business almost daily.

Reassessed Averages
Steve Shovlar replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It was stated several times on other threads by Stevebrum that cvs said absolutely nothing of the sort. So why are you repeating this fake news Bwitcher? -
Think what POP meant was we already have a one over 8 rider so therefore all the negotiations were a waste of time.

BT offering 3K to televise a live meeting is taking the P. Seriously. That is 150 people through the turnstiles at normal prices and 300 at a tenner. Clubs could easily lose 300 for a bt meeting meaning they are seriously out of pocket. No wonder some are not happy. Cant say I blame the promoters to be honest. BT can offer more and should offer more. BSPA would make a stack load more money going ppv online with a fiver a meeting to watch the feed. Plus they can still charge £17 entry. I should imagine 10,000 a meeting would be a fairer price for gp riders and a tenner entry.

No suprise at all everyone knew Brady was going to be our number one. The shocks and suprises will come during the long winter months.
-
Both Swindon and Poole go with a number one just above the 8 point mark. It will be interesting how both teams fill their remaining berths to give strength in depth.
-
Najlepszy młody polski jeździec podążający śladami ojca i zmierzający do Poole?
-
With Matt Ford offering a deal to Magic for the number one berth in 2018? I doubt Ford would have voted for one over 8 when it messed up his team building plans.
-
Hopefully that will be your team.
-
Sorry? What are you on about? Making sweeping statements about someone over hearsay?
-
I have certainly not made light of the situation. Perhaps you should read through my posts again without the garbage replies from the imbeciles. Coventry have their new thread now in the NL section and I hope their fans on here support their new look team.
-
I have heard Giles has left the building.

This would be fairly easy to implement and would bring in very good money to clubs. Either a £20 monthly subscription to watch all televised meetings or a fiver a meeting. Today the technology is there to get up and running in no time at all. Just need a company willing to do this and I am sure there are several who would love to have the opportunity like Pete Ballinger or Rerun. Time for clubs to become pro active and get this income source online. All that is reuired is a fast broadband and most stadiums have this facility.

Hearing rumours now of no tv in 2018. Why on earth wasnt the tv deal sorted before the agm?
-
I am not interested in what Starman has said. But I know I haven’t said anything on here controversial or to the detriment of Coventry. I do believe that if their fans boycott their club they are seriously at risk of it being gone forever. Do they wish that to happen? Hopefully the majority will get behind their team at Leicester on Sunday afternoons.
-
I believe your imagination has run away with you. Nobody want to see the demise of Coventry speedway and I should imagine Poole fans certainly want them back in the top flight so we can, but for the odd hiccup, continue to smash you at Brandon and Poole. The clashes between the clubs are sadly missed.
-
If Doyle had got the nod, Nick Morris would not be riding top flight speedway in the UK in 2018 as no other club would have come in for him on his average. By chosing Morris Rosco has guarenteed both will be riding. A tough call but gives Rosco a bit more to play with.
-
Who is making light of your situation? Nobody as far as I can tell.
-
Hearing there's been a change at the club but not on track.
-
Clearly my post went way over your head.
-
Who do you think you are? Starman?
-
Its true. There really is an outbreak of imbecilia.
