  1. Rain due to clear to leave a dry afternoon and evening. I am coming up and hope I am not the only one there. Well I wont be ad I know of at least 15 other Poole fans making the arduous trip to Lynn. This is now a complete banana skin for Poole. We should win this I admit, but stranger things have happened. All those Coventry fans who said exactly the same when they got thumped at Poole then battled to a victory are probably still cursing that they stayed away. In times like this Lynn fans need tomcome out and support their team. Hoping for 4 points to secure our place in the playoffs.
  2. Why would Iversen be missing tomorrow? They will surely bring in a guest for Iversen if he is missing.
  3. We thrashed Coventry 60-29 then went to their place and got turned over. Iversen is back, they will also have the Dane. Lambert, Schlein and Batchelor will all do far better. 4 points either way and I will be moaning about another crap performance by Hans. (Hope not)
  4. Well what can I say about that? I go to speedway to watch was is meant to be two relatively evenly matched teams racing flat out to entertain the fans. Well, we got that on one side. Poole went out and did their job. But the opposition were rubbish to a man. When Schlein broke down at the tapes, he walked slowly back to the pits, knowing full well he had to go off 15 or there would be three riders. He couldn't be arsed to come out leaving poor Morely to battle alone. A good crowd, including two very sorry looking Kings Lynn fans witnessed an absolute drubbing. Having said that the Poole boys didn't gate every heat and had to battle through quite often. For Poole Holder was immaculate. Led on a couple of occassions but in the lead by the end of lap one. Ellis was very good. Saw off Harris quite easily and should have beaten Lambert and Batchelor but chose the wrong line off bend two and the two kl riders rode him out team riding. Buck and Hans did their jobs, Kurtz was motm as far as I am concerned. Rode the best I have seen him in a while. Newman rode superb. Bjarne was untouchable. For Kings Lynn Harris was poor but for one ride. Schlein had one good ride when he got around Newman. But poor overall Batchelor ditto. Just couldn't live with the Poole boys Lambert had one win with both Buck and Hans climbing all over him. But that was all he did. Both reserves were outclassed. Morely tried his heart out but Newman and Bjarne were too good for both Kings Lynn boys. So three points to move us into second in the league. Would the score have been much different had Iversen rode? Doubt we would have hit 60. But I don't think Huckenbeck would have troubled our lads. It will be totally different tomorrow.
  5. Didnt want to let anyone down. Just won his third race. Worse still was Schien whose bike packed up at the start. He couldnt ne bothered to come out off fifteen.
  6. So by your logic Belle Vue have fluked their dominant position, with a thumping win at Poole along the way, winning at second placed Wolves, being miles clear at the top and with an unassailable lead, yet Poole are favourites to still win. Yep. Gavan logic. 😆😆
  7. Cant see a ten point win to Poole. Not happened all season. Probably a repeat of last year with Iversen and Lambert getting a 5-1 to win it.
  8. As Imsaid earlier disappointed that Iversen isn"t riding. Howarth is certainly an improvement for Lynn at reserve in place of Lambert but it was always going to be 3 points to Poole even if Iversen was riding. Well I hope so anyway.
  9. Of course Belle Vue are Favourites! They are on great form, almost unbeatable and miles clear at the top of the league! What part of "best team this year" don't you understand? They are clear favourites. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge about the sport knows this. Its not even up for debate. All other teams are floundering while Belle Vue keep on winning. They could easily go the rest of this season without losing again.
  10. So Poole's first visit of the season to Kings Lynn and we should be at full strength. Pirates do tend to go quite well here and need a point at least to keep them safely in the playoff places. Coming up for this one weather permitting. Horrible journey and get to Belle Vue faster. Thought on the score? I think there will be no more than four in it.
  11. You miss one fundamental point. Poole have lots of away meetings still to come. Poole have ridden two more home meetings than BV. BV have ridden 13 away compared to Pooles 7.
  12. Its in his dna. He can't bear to be away from anything Poole. Closet fan.
  13. So there we have it. Wolves cheating to fit in Woffinden. If for example a Poole rider had scored 0,0,0 after coming second in the SEC on Saturday, with the intention of being swapped out of the team for a bigger rider, who just so happens to have an average so close to the rider that he is replacing that said rider dare not win a heat, there would have been uproar on here. Poole cheats etc etc etc. But not a wisper of anything untoward. Double standards? Woffinden should be riding EL anyway. Hopefully he will be back full time in 2017.
  14. Don't rise to the bait Lisa. As can be seen by everyone on here he is totally losing it again and its only a matter of time before he self implodes. Biggest troll the forum has had in a while but at least we can all sit back and laugh at him. Can se the steam pouring out of his ears as he types some feeble reply.☠
  15. As a fan of Poole that's what I would like. Possitive thinking and all that. But after tonights result I think its impossible now to catch Belle Vue and we will be heading to whoever Belle Vue chose not to meet. They may chose to go back to Monmore as clearly the place holds no fear for them. Mind you I doubt any of the other playoff teams will hold fear and they must be confident of winning every leg.
  16. With starman currently absent we have to have someone to provide the comedy.
  17. So you going to replace Howarth? Something needs to be done.
  18. only way to rectify it is to remove the concrete barrier. Harris was a lucky boy tonight.
  19. I Think Gavans knowledge of speedway is a little limited Lisa. Anyone with a bit of speedway savvy knows that Belle Vue, sweeping all before them and clear at the top of the league are obviously favourites. To argue any different really just shows a lack of intellingence.
  20. Garrity crapped himself riding with KK and I bet KK was laughing under his helmet ad he pushed Garrity along. But to say in the interview all the riders get along with the exception of KK shows the team is not together and Garrity should have kept his personal opinion to himself. He is a completely inferior rider to the Pole in every aspect. Harris came off in exactly the same place Holder fell, but Harris was lucky in that he clipped a part of the airfence which slowed his impact. Holder was going much faster and with the bike rasing the airfence he hit it at full speed breaking his legs and thigh. Nothing seems to have changed. The fence is just as dangerous.
  21. Belle vue are clear favourites for the title. Only a pea brain would disagree.
