  1. I’d previously mentioned Ben Morley and got shot down for it but he certainly helped Plymouth beat Poole on Tuesday by scoring paid ten. whilst admirable keeping faith with George he isn’t what you need at the moment.
  2. You had all winter to sign a rider to bring you up to the limit but didn’t. If you replace a non scoring 4 pointer with one that will get 6 at home and two away that will be a decent improvement on what you currently have. the most important thing for Newcastle is to win at home consistently. Regular home defeats will end in disaster
  3. It was difficult to find a electrician in Norfolk with just five fingers to do the work.
  4. We thought it was strange to not put Doyle in but Nicola asked him after the meeting and he is feeling poorly so that’s why he didn’t go in 15
  5. Zagar took a knock to his shoulder last night in Denmark
  6. Watched this on bsn. Track was very smooth and well prepared and produced plenty of decent racing. the meeting was perfectly paced and the riders really did interact with the fans and entertained with plenty of wheelies. repeat this week in and week out and you will hopefully get the crowds you need. well done guys.
  7. Thank goodness ithe work wasn’t started before the bank holiday otherwise the lucrative stock car meeting might have been postponed too.
  8. Very true but I think Newcastles tight turn’s would suit him once he got dialled in.
  9. Interesting to see Ben Morley scored paid ten from 5 rides at number 7 for Plymouth resulting in helping thrash Poole.
  10. Well done to the promotion. Welcome back Ben
  11. Berwick are the blueprint of how to run a speedway on a budget very successfully
  12. I think the health of a injured rider is more important than the inconvenience of the crowd. the rider could suffer a heart attack or a fit so need to be in a ambulance in case of a worst case scenario.
  13. I blame Berwick !!!! They are always involved. seriously when will these promotions learn. Hope Ty is ok
  14. Very happy when we signed Doyle and Riss but to build 2 points under the limit is unforgivable. And before press day I said our season depends on cam One chin and he will be excellent. Two chins he will be poor. 8 months to get himself fit and he obviously can’t be bothered and yet the management defend him yet again.
  15. No Anders tonight as he is Ill. James Shanes replaces him.
  16. I watched the live stream from Oxford last night. When you get replaced in your last ride with a reserve who is a guest and a 3 pointer in the championship then you need to look at yourself
  17. The promotion may claim they can’t afford to give free admission but imo they can’t afford not to. Definitely a case of shooting themselves in the foot. Especially as they have invested so much in the track and new fence. if you had free entry you would give them a second chance. At £8 probably not for the casual supporter
  18. Must be because he is cheap or the management didn’t go on past form. my bet is both. andersen can’t ride lynn for toffee despite being a lynn asset. Another poor decision
  19. Has aarnio ridden at Kings lynn before ? Or is this his debut ?
  20. I’ve been going to foxhall since march 1985 so that’s 36 seasons and I’ve missed less than ten home meetings in all that time. normally I might miss a meeting as I’m away on holiday but I never choose to miss a home meeting however this Thursday I’m choosing not to go to foxhall. £23 for 15 heats and a likely home defeat. No thanks
  21. Spot on. The promotion can’t afford to lose fans so early in the season especially as they have rectified the track which was one of the reasons for poor crowds last season
