  1. I would imagine you are looking along the lines of vissing and gappmaier plus one other. unless LR can pull a rabbit out of the hat like Plymouth did with the Bjarne pedersen signature I really can’t see who you will get of any heat leader quality
  2. He certainly has potential but you can’t afford to have a sub 3 point rider instead of Stefan Nielsen with a lack of heat leader strength it’s vital you have two super strong reserves.
  3. He does want to ride in the uk but not yet. He has a team place in Poland already
  4. Poor Birmingham desperately need a number one. In fact I’d say their future and survival looks very bleak indeed without one. doesn’t seem right to me.
  5. I think he is a very good shout. Definitely worth a punt. Better to have a young improving rider in the team what about Tomas jonnasson?
  6. It seems wrong to me that poole have got three genuine number ones while Birmingham desperately need a number one. if they fail to land a suitable rider I can see Birmingham folding and probably never reopening again.
  7. Maybe call the stand the legends stand and do a online vote to establish ten riders who deserve a place and have ten large photo boards mounted in the stand. be handy if you are meeting someone at the stadium as you can say I’ll be in the south stand in the Chris Morton section. a club of such heritage in a modern stadium should remember the history like they do for Peter craven.
  8. I’ve got and read both books and the second one is even better as it’s got more of his career content in it.
  9. Whatever happens the task is very difficult due to a lack of quality riders especially as poole have got 3 number ones in their proposed team. if your budget is tight and riders are scarce you are going to struggle at this stage However it has been done as hull won the league with a last minute team and Peterborough last year had all the riders nobody wanted. but equally you could end up with a Mildenhall 2008 team which was record breaking all for the wrong reasons
  10. Completely agree. We don’t know if he even wants to ride in the championship let alone actually talk terms to any promotion. I would suggest as he rode for Scunthorpe last year considering they run a tight ship quite rightly he probably is very fair with his wage demands.
  11. I like Starke and do find him entertaining but I’d swap him and use the 1.88 points left over for a 6 pointer which would put heeps at reserve that would change the team from a decent team to a championship winning team.
  12. Jake Allen who has already been announced as being purchased as a Scunthorpe asset several weeks ago
  13. If Scunthorpe can I’m sure it’s possible.
  14. Rules have been bent for many years in pooles favour.
  15. Birmingham really need a big name signing at number one. Smolinski or maybe Kenneth bjerre type signing. Plymouth got bjarne pedersen when no one else thought it was possible. manzaries wants to return to the uk but wasn’t up to standard the last time he rode for Scunthorpe.
  16. As it’s a new promotion I can’t see why he wouldn’t return. you definitely get plenty of effort but he seems to have found his level now. I think there was a huge level of expectancy when he scored 19 pits at Wolverhampton in the play off final. still a very dependable engine room type of rider that every team needs.
  17. Has Jordan Stewart been shown the door is is he choosing not to return to the uk.
  18. It’s not a bad team BUT it could have been so much better
  19. Love to hear the explanation. We are inept maybe ?
  20. From being very excited when Doyle was signed I’m now totally underwhelmed. And a bit angry. Any advantage we had with riders with potential to raise their average is negated with starting two points under the limit.
  21. That as well as hating the new tyres. Absolutely zapped his confidence
  22. He has been released from his Swedish club I believe
