That sounds like the SCB and the BSPL have their hands out first and then hang them out to dry. if the riders do move on then Newcastle should have first shout. But we all know money talks and they will go to Glasgow

Birmingham vs Leicester 11/08/2021
Racin Jason 72 replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Dust clouds are unacceptable. Old or new fans don’t want to get filthy while watching speedway. another problem is riders hate the track been watered during the meeting. If the track has been prepared properly in the first place then watering shouldn’t be needed unless it’s a really hot day. if you fail to prepare then prepare to fail I’m afraid -
Swindon Robins 2020

Personally I think the robins will return to the abbey but it will be in exactly the same state as when they left it. I think a lot depends on the health of Terry Russell and his will to continue. Does anyone know how Terry is ?? -
I only remember sky showing championship meetings. Not BT.

Well done to everyone involved. What a fantastic effort

I’m travelling up from Ipswich tomorrow and would be grateful for weather updates -

With the team assembled way under the points limit. A number one released to cut costs. Two riders making comebacks and originally signing a NDL second string as a reserve then you surely can’t expect a winning team as well !!!! especially when you don’t put your top scorer in heat 15 presumably to keep your wage bill down. -
If he did lower his average it would enable him to ride in the championship and have many more meetings and opportunities to earn. I do think in this case it’s more to do with riding far less than most other riders.

Plymouth v Poole 13/7/21 CL
Racin Jason 72 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It’s not within the rules. But Poole have been given special dispensation for 7 days. It’s wrong on two levels. Poole chose to sack Keheler so they should have had his replacement ready to step straight in. They didn’t because they had to act quickly to keep cook at reserve so in my opinion the promotion caused the problem so should adhere to the rules. -

But that is what the rules say should happen !!!!! -

Absolutely no way !!! Should be a junior instead of rider replacement -

I think Lawson was destined to ride for Lynn but then Riss made himself available again and the club decided to sign Riss instead.

You desperately need top end strength. Someone like Claus vissing to come in would help enormously. or if you could get Troy batchelor to double up then that could be a game changer.

King's Lynn Stars 2020

Heeps was brilliant in 19. He lost weight and got really trim and physically fit and reaped the benefits. he now seems to have regained the weight and isn’t effective. I would argue if he got fit again he could do a job but at the moment I think he will disappoint. -
Mildenhall v Berwick 4th July

As soon as I saw the massive tractor and a grader go on to the track I knew it was all over. So much clay in the track it just rolls it into lumps. Then the more laps the bigger the clods get. -
Peterborough Panthers 2021
Racin Jason 72 replied to Noodles's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Completely agree. He is racing on a much smaller budget these days. Definitely carrying more weight than most other riders and driving as well as riding to meetings is a disadvantage too. on his day he can be brilliant but those days are getting less frequent. Last year at foxhall he really struggled but it was either the track’s fault or he couldn’t find the set up !!!!
