I’d add lemon to the list. They couldn’t organise a village fete successfully. Absolute shambles. instead of aspiring to the professional levels of Poole Glasgow Ipswich Leicester and Redcar we dumb down to the likes of Godfrey and Chapman who just threaten to pack up if they don’t get their own way. -

It’s worrying times because if Sheffield lost money last year then they certainly will this year. £80k less income this year I’d imagine. £60k via tv money and £20k possibly from a headline sponsor. points limit slashed and a weaker product and no doubt a price increase at the turnstiles will bring the crowds flocking. when will speedway learn that after 20 attempts of this master plan it’s quite obvious the 21st attempt will fail too. i

Maybe if they had listened to Chris Louis who informed the BSPL four years ago that speedway was welcome at Northampton and would be a vital additional track. then we wouldn’t have this last minute rush to launch and the delay of fixtures etc. -
I would love to know how many riders don’t work during the off season. I’d imagine many championship rider’s also don’t but I may be wrong

Only two teams made a profit last year. One in the premiership and one in the championship. -

You can see why Chris Louis has run off. I’m sure this certainly didnt align with his views of how the sport should present itself -

And we don’t need more fixtures because I’ve filled my calendar with stock car meetings which would have been staged at Bradford. Sorry I mean because the second time teams came our crowds were down. which had nothing to do with us being bottom of the league -

Spot on ! my worry is that the strategy for SFL is to find a wealthy fool and in exchange for his or her money we will change the sport to their wishes surely put a credible two league structure in place with promotion and relegation. Play offs to decide who gets promoted in championship. And play offs in premiership to decide who gets relegated. who comes top wins the league in both divisions. begin to phase out doubling up by only allowing riders who are living in the uk to double up. once you achieve this you can then get tv interested again with lots of meaningful fixtures -
You are correct on both counts. the fence has to be a polyfoam barrier but as reported in this week’s speedway star the company that provided the fences has gone bust.

The gate has the same issue as the owner. It had a screw loose 😆

So what has happened for Kevin boothby to give up the lease at mildenhall ? Is it financial issue or is he just cutting back due to ill health ? and what’s happening at Oxford regarding the lease. The

That’s because the BSPL announced Ipswich were running and not Chris Louis who apparently was rightly furious
-
Why on earth did they announce it if the deal wasn’t finalised.

Great choice. Sharp gater and a big track rider.

Do you mean Emil sayfutinov? just because you have unfortunately lost your team don’t allow your bitterness to bring my team down.

I’d rather have a junior than tungate. No doubting his ability but his attitude stinks
