He now has an Audi. Absolute disgraceful behaviour. Such a bad example to his team mates -

Boughen is very frustrating to watch. Again goes ridiculously wide in heat one. repeatedly moving at the starts and shutting off as soon as anyone come underneath him. someone needs to advise him. I know Bomber is his mentor but what works for bomber won’t perhaps work for Ashton. -
Wonder who will replace MJJ when he finishes his short term contract.

Today is the 40th anniversary of Billy’s passing and the club are marking the occasion with a special second half. a plaque and mural have been in Billy’s pit space ever since. Fondly remembered and never forgotten even when the compulsory pit hoarding covered the mural a replica one soon was on the pits wall. I remember going to foxhall 40 years ago and how surreal and sense of absolute shock at foxhall. I guess many fans will want to remember Billy and once again pay our respect The second half will be much more significant to many than the league meeting. -
That’s what they said about Oxford.

I think cook is getting far too much stick. He is a very good second string but not a number one. he hasn’t been a championship number one even last year he rode mostly at number 3 rather than 5 which is the easier heat leader berth. whoever is number one at lynn is going to struggle because of how the team is built. I have no doubt cook will drop to reserve and score prolifically and bomber will go to number one and he will struggle against fellow number one’s. I think Lynn will do ok at home most weeks but could struggle against the likes of Ipswich and Sheffield -

Would you agree the amount of water put down was woefully inadequate? A blue groove is totally unacceptable but I’ve never seen one in April before in my 40 years of attending speedway -

Monmore green was never dusty and always well prepared and dogs used to race on raceday
