I went to the bike show at the showground recently and there was one Rory Schlien bike there but nothing from the promotion What a wasted opportunity to give out fixture lists stickers and maybe discounted admission tickets. Sidecars were entertaining the crowds during the day so why couldn't the bikes do the same ? I guess it's easier to tell your customers to bring a friend

Would silver let someone else promote there while he owns the stadium ?

When wolves signed him from Newcastle he would fence his team mates regularly hence why he never done a second season. He has always been dirty and you cannot blame youthful exubriance now. He fenced Hancock at a gp years ago and gollob fenced him in the rerun to a massive cheer. What's most disturbing is his attitude to zagar after the incident. Not seeing how he was and then kicking him on track. And then goading him in the pits was disgusting behaviour.

What was the crowd figures like tonight ?

There used to be concrete start gates years ago I believe in the fifties. Does anyone know why they were dispensed with ?? It's so frustrating having all these false starts nowadays I'd like to see a consistent surface used in the starting grids so there is no gardening. Must have been a reason why concrete start grids were stopped.

The reason I believe he does not ride abroad is that he would come in on a high assessed average due to his performances over here No foreign club has took the risk as yet. So it's not a lack of ambition but a lack of a opportunity.

Provide a decent track. Riders of similar ability and slick presentation and you have a winner. Sadly I should imagine this happens at 60% of British tracks.

I agree shadders. Ben Morley got his first ever maximum last night. In the elite league !!!! Yet has not got a premier league place. Next season the premier league will be much stronger when king Nicholls etc drop down as their averages will allow it due to the new el race format.

Tbf to Malcolm it's up to the promoters of stoke to tell the public what the latest situation is. On the stoke website it makes no reference to any track work but does say when the next meeting is !! So presumably all is well??? If this meeting is off due to the track rather than the weather then I suggest the promotion should amputate their feet as they have shot themselves in the foot far too many times

I think scunny will sign nicolai klint to replace mellgren if that fits average wise.
