What did King do in the WTC in June on a dry track?

I read in SStar that the Leicester boss will not allow Coventry to share Leicester, he knows both teams would suffer with loss of crowds.

I think its likely Darcy will be seen in some other competitive sport as soon as he gets some stability.

You can assume all you like, this forum is full of assumptions - many of them wrong. What are you expecting as a response..... If the SS news is put back a week....its put back a week. At least we all know its put back a week.........we will have to wait a bit longer.

Not necessarily so, his withdrawal leaves 3 to choose from, maybe the choice of 2 or even all 3 is so close it taking time to think it out.

Thats a lot of money to be owed. I wonder if there are other Swedish teams in trouble, or maybe Danish teams. We know one or two Polish teams have their money problems (How much was Emil owed) The face of speedway could be changing dramatically, and it doesnt look good for what comes out of it.

Longtrack racing demise is a sign of the times, back in the 70's and 80's long track was very competitive and thriving..... so was speedway....... look at them now though.

I dont know the guy not the work he done for speedway, but all the comments I hear on this forum are all good..... so I really hope he has a long and happy retirement, sounds like he deserves it.

If they did "fly around europe" looking at tracks then they did a cracking job - the track is a race track 110% Maybe because Manchester City Council was stumping up the money they ruled the roost, its a large powerful council, and maybe they were more dominant then Gordon and Morton on certain issues.Who knows. No one knows what went on, no one on this forum anyway, so its all guess work, and in the process of guessing the reputation of innocent individuals could be tarnished.

Maybe in the first week of March the weather is more predictable in Gorican then in Manchester.

I had just told you, pressed the like button by mistake, I was looking for the quote button, so I took back the "like" (cancelled it) and then pressed the quote button and replied to your post re crowds not liking the facilities at the WTC at Belle Vue.

Pressed by error, was after the quote button, "the like" has been taken back.

I attended the WTC both nights, in the extra stand erected on bends 3-4 and was absolutely fine. Yes, it could have been better for toilet facilities but it was ok, better next time probably.

Well that should shut up more then a few on here who have strongly condemned Gordon and Morton for carrying on with the Peter Craven Memorial meeting whilst knowing there was a problem on bends 3-4. Clearly there was a FULL practice session lasting SEVERAL hours with Aces, Colts and others taking part. They were happy with the track giving it a and followed by Mark Lemon saying "all problems were sorted and the track was good to go". There is a lot yet to come out IMO, but will it.

Probably correct, and thats why the BV National Speedway Stadium will be open for business in 2017. Tomorrow, 3rd Jan, is the first working day in the new year, wheels will start turning, meetings arranged for sooner rather then later, and a news statement issued...... we wait patiently. I hope an announcement is sooner because as someone said a few posts ago - riders are wanting to know where they will be next year.
