  1. Top 4 from each qualifier go to the final However, if a rider in the current GP series finishes in the GP top six he then qualifies for next years GP series. His qualifying Challange position is therefore up for grabs and the organisers nominate a rider.
  2. I trying to think of another sport where individuals score points which are then wiped out in favour of a different scheme.
  3. It’s a pity the grass track racing is not being shown tomorrow, that must be a good watch, what with right hand bends and a jump, and it will be fast.
  4. Freddie and Leon are on a downer due to medical conditions hitting them over the last two years. Love to see them get it all back. In the meantime there is no one who can regularly take it to Zmarzlik. We will have to wait for the newer ones to develop.
  5. That was a poor meeting like Prague was. Of the Poles only Dudek attacked it, Zmarzlik got second because Freddie gave up with it. Very poor.
  6. Always one that spoils the party . I would not of expected Dudek to fight his way through the bumps.
  7. It was done the day before when it started a few years ago. Problem was some riders were racing in Poland Friday evening and were not allowed to go to the Gp, so they had what gates were left. Not satisfactory and don’t think it would be agreed with the new management. Of course, we here have been advocating put locals riders out for about four races, but qualifying as it is now must account for 14 races or so. It is not helpful.
  8. Gate 3 has produced awful results tonight.. 12 races and 1 second, the other 11 are 3rd or 4th. Dans coming out on gate 3.
  9. Maybe not this year, too early, but Dan is doing extremely good. I was impressed how he rode in Prague, and he is doing the job again.
  10. Ah I see, tai must be putting faith in Dans future, passing on his top mechanic.
  11. Watching Teterow qualifying times. Looking at the stadium I reckon Workington could have a GP next year with not much more work.
  12. Thanks. Still seems good value if that’s what you want to watch.
  13. What is Premier showing….. the GP’s. If it is the GP’ and they show 10 for example, that would cost £7 per GP….. that would be a bargain in my mind.
  14. Thanks for that, a lot of new news there. I signed up for BT Broadband 18 months ago (2 year contract) with BT Sport when they had the speedwayGP and MotoGP. Up for renewal late Jan 2023. Now they only have MotoGP ….. which I love, but I love SpeedwayGP too, so I tool out a Discovery+ offer of 12 month half price (£29.99) so I can see SpeedwayGP live. Just want this lot to sort out by next Jan so I can take out a broadband package and hopefully SpeedwayGP and MotoGP viewing all for less then I pay now. If I have to save money, and that looks likely, I would have to ditch the MotoGP package, and hopefully be able to watch it Tuesday evening in a condensed 1 hour program covering Motogp1, Moto2, and Moto3. Hopefully MotoGP will be integrated into Discovery+ so I get to see it all, hopefully for a realistic price. Lot still up in the air.
  15. At today Moto GP in Mugello, Italy tickets in the grandstand were over £200, elsewhere round the track around £100. Expected crowd was 100,000, the actual crowd was reported at around 40,000. Over the last 2 years businesses have lost a lot of revenue during lockdown, but the public are not complete idiots, they not going to pay overinflated prices to compensate lost income. Same with holidays in the uk, prices shot up this year. Now booking absents are cutting prices to try to get places filled. What they should have done is keep price rises moderate so families will take a uk holiday, see what beautiful countryside and good amenities there are in the uk so they will book again next year. But greed set in.
  16. He rode very well, like we know he can when things are right for him. I like him, and hop he does well this year. Got to keep injury free though. re Bewley’s fall. I agree with what has been said…. The ref didn’t red flag it until the end of that lap so the race could be declared finished. The result was certain at that point so a good call. I remember few years ago Woffys frame breaking at the headstock too. And it happened to me in a grass track in my younger days…… that was a rough field that day. Not nice head butting the ground though. I hear today that the F1 future races in Monaco are under threat. New owners for the series, just like in speedway, they now weeding out circuits that don’t give good racing. But in relation to Monaco, the new F1 owners don’t have a lot of control of the actual organising of the event, so loose out on a lot of revenue.
