Can you keep us updated, if the racing is likely to be good, as I not booked stream yet. -
I did not mention holding SGP and SGP2 on the same day, and my eyes are still clear enough to realise MoroGP and F1 are raced on tarmac. However, there was a series of meetings night after night at Vojens and the track held up, so surely two meetings over two days, on well prepared tracks can cope. That’s proven. Also proven is you cannot do that on a poorly prepared track.
-
Nothing wrong in holding SGP and SGP2 at the same track. Need the right tracks to do it. MotoGP/2/3 are together at every round. and I think when there is a F1 race there is at least one other formula the same weekend, just not shown as F1 race is so long.
-
Surprised at that, I would have thought 60k tops.

That would make it a 76000 seater stadium…. I don’t think it is?

What is the price in Warsaw on a non GP weekend ie any other time of the year? we normally holiday in the uk and in recent years it been at Premier Inns. We notice the nightly rate changes during the week, Tuesday night more expensive, as is Friday night, Sunday night being a lower priced night. Last year we got 6 nights averaged out at £35 per night, no breakfast.

They did it in Prague early in the season, and they doing it in a Torun in a few weeks time.

Forecast of light rain all day Friday until Saturday lunchtime. Whats the Glasgow track like for handling rain? -
I think you may find that hotels in the big cities will increase the prices when ANY big how is in town.

If it was not technology you would not be posting on here, now.

Yep, Dan is impressive. His gating this year has improved immensely, and it needed to as his experience of coming from the back needs adding to at the very top level, that will be fulfilled in the next 2 or 3 years. Then, if he can keep away from serious injury, he could be multi world champion just like Woffy and Smarzlik.

At BV in 2016 when they had the world team (or whatever is was called then), there was food/drink stalls outside the stadium, and extra food/drink stalls and toilets inside the stadium at the rear of the temporary stands. You can of course bring/buy your own food and eat outside the stadium
-
I know that but I don't want to burst every one else's balloon.

Don’t agree, Elle Vue needs to be Aug/Sept hoping the weather is not raining. Having determined that would mean Cardiff the early one in May or a later one just beforeTorun.

Personally, I think it was right to call an end after heat 20, even though heat 20 was rerun….it had to be rerun. To put the top scorers through two more races (if they got to the final) may not have reflected the true winner and potentially injured one or more of the eight. The races could potentially be a gate and go affair, or worse, someone may have tried an overtake resulting in two or more riders getting injured. Tje same thing could have been said about the British Championship the other week. They got to heat 12 and stopped it. If it went to 12+they could have got to 13, then to 14 and do on. It’s sad to end a meeting early, but it happens out of necessity.

Stream it and charge £20, well worth it to see the speedway gladiators fighting it out on a proper race track. Obviously supporters already paying for a bona fide “licenced” viewing does not pay again. That should cover costs, viewers around the world.
-
I think it was 9,000.

As has already been said, hotels will put their prices up anyway….. they do all over the country when they know a big event is on…. And they have their means of knowing when big events are on. Big events could be anything that attracts people ie conferences, exhibitions, sporting events, concerts, school hols…. Anything.
-
No speedway track in the uk can hold anything near what Cardiff holds. So maybe we should be happy sticking with Cardiff.

They would have got points. They were deciding not to rerun the race but award points how they were when the race was stopped…. Or if they rerun the race and positions changed would those points have affected the two semi final draw positions. If that was a possibility then they would have to run the race again…..which they did but Kemp didn’t attempt a good start, so it made no difference anyway.
