It doe not get better at Marketa does it? Racing was poor, very poor, this year. The riders are up for it, but if the track doesn’t come to them it’s a bore. I was particularly impressed with Dan Bewley. We know the potential is there, but I thought last night he released some of it. IMO he rode intelligently, making the right moves in the right way at the right time. He looked different last night, a move obviously in the right direction. On the other hand, We know Robert Lambert has the potential, but it is as if his thought process is stuck in a rut. It could be said the track last night was not helping him, true, but Dan was more inventive with his moves and it worked. Looking forward to next weeks GP. I took the 12 month subscription with Discovery+ when the half price offer was on, £30 for the 12 month, good value just for the Speedway GPs, but they are covering loads of sports, WSBk, loads of films and documentaries, but having difficulty getting the logic of negotiating their program planner. Just can’t get my head around any logic to find a program. My biggest grumble with it. Coverage of GPs is really good, IMO

I have never rated that track, nothing tonight to make me change my mind. Definately some guys tonight who should have done better, but it was obvious the track was too tough for them. Kvetch was probably best rider tonight but the best racer was Gusts. He is developing into a very good rider. Ok, so there was a female rider, fair enough to give one a chance, might spur other females to give it a go. Some tough females have taken to boxing. I don’t agree with boxing, but if females can do that they can do speedway. Anyone know why females can’t enter snooker alongside the men?

A female racer is the wild card for the SGP2 under 21’s. German racer Celina Liebmann. Apparently her father, German ice speedway international Jurgen Liebmann, won FIM Team Ice Speedway World Championship bronze medals in 2001 and 2003. She scored 6 points in the SGP2 semi final in Daugavpils, Latvia, in May.

I have a BT box to watch BT sport on, and access to the BT Sport on my IPad, and I can pause/rewind/fast forward recorded sports events, obviously not live sport. My BT contract ends Jan 2023, what I do then I have not yet decided. Speedway GP and Premiership is with Discovery+ and I have their app at half price this year, and watch MotoGP/2/3 on BT sport. But it has got costly, and something has to go. Sort of 9 months to work out the figures and decide.

Some riders used an engine cover on the right side of the engine to protect the left leg from engine heat burns. Is that what you referring to.? For grass tracking I used motox leather trousers and they had a burn mark just abut the inside knee area.

What you describe is exactly what mine was doing. I too was watching snooker, in Feb, and I knew who won the frame whilst I was still watching it. I was watching the Winter Olympics, short track speed skating, again I knew the winner of a race and I was still watching beginning of last lap. Very frustrating. As I said previously, I got one of the latest Roku Streaming Stick+, which the spec reads 4K Ultra HD, HDR, 1080p & 720p streaming upto 60 fps. I got mine off eBay as a opened box customer return, £32 instead of £55 new. If you anywhere near Chester I will lend you the stick to try.

I can agree with a lot of that. What I did like was the pit layout, that has made a big jump forward. Looks smart. For me, what Disc+ needs to do is notify the large audience what time the meeting starts....... UK time, that is. 10:45 became 11:45, 4:30 became 5:50. Further, I log on for 10:45 and was greeted with You Need To Upgrade. Panic set in. Log in 4:30 and the same message. It got me wondering am I going to see the GP live (what I paid for).

who is the "us" that is peddling (pushing) for war?????? I certainly am not pushing for war. I am pushing for peace. I believe peace will come, I trust the prophecies in the Bible, which promises peace. But sadly most people have either given up on hope or still put their hope on mans governments (management)
