  1. You taught me nothing new about go carts, IMO it is still a different sport. The part of you post I was agreeing with was the last 18 words starting with “get rid of...”
  2. 6 team league would be ridiculous. I say you need 10 at least to make it look sensible.
  3. Go carts is a different sport to formula 1, so not a good comparison. But I agree with what you saying.
  4. Nicki was in the 2018 GP's, but if you were referring to 2019 then I agree NP could have been top 8
  5. I got splinters in my fingers scratching my head thinking about it. er, none but could name a few that could put the cat among the pigeons every so often...… including Lambert
  6. Robert seems to be unconventional in his career, choosing to race more Germany the uk earlier on. I think he has some good advisors behind him, turning down Polish top division seems a shock to many, but considering his age and career history perhaps it shouldn't be such a surprise. Hes done well in 2018 from a Polish 2nd div slot, and I cant see what he has chosen to do in 2019 will hurt him at all. He has a great career ahead of him, hope he can keep clear of serious injury.
  7. I not a KL fan, I a speedway fan, and I don't like the playoffs. Its a money making spin at the end of the year, doesn't serve a great purpose in my opinion.
  8. Call it what you want - the play offs are rubbish. Come the end of the year its a good chance the team that played earlier cant get together - showed that this year as well as previous. It was a farce at KL when they were presenting the medals, too many non-team members walking up to take the metal. That's not Poles or KL fault, just the rubbish system.
  9. Kings Lynn won the Premier League, Poole won the Premier Trophy. My opinion is that topping a league over a season of home and aways is far more prestigious then a club that wins the final 2 meetings.
  10. It would be nice to have a team, riders you get to know, and stick together as a team for a whole season. Guests should only be an exception. The team that tops the league are the champions, non of this play off nonsense, especially at the end of the season where the team you followed during the year looks not much like the team in the play offs. Get the admission prices lowered, and get pricing so families can afford to go. Get the kids involved with activities that they will never forget - aka IoWight. Prepare tracks for racing, not just prepared for home advantage.
  11. Well there we have it. Two posts about having SoN in Russia, presume Togliatti, and two completely opposing opinions. So is SoN Russia going to be a roaring success or a complete failure.
  12. Didn’t know that GC, now that might influence my thinking as to whether I vote, now let me think........... er, NO
  13. Is that true? that there is a rule that stops Morris from riding for Poole at KL, but has been given the ok to do so? Someone please explain that to me.
  14. MM was 3rd in the under 21 world championship 2014 - born Aug 1994, so just over 24 VM was born May 1993 so 25 Not to far apart but Milik oldest. Been impressed the way MM has rode this year (in the small amount of tv viewing)
  15. Completely boring. If it carries on like this it will be turned off and I will pick my knitting up
  16. the reserve list looks very sensible to me. The oldest there must be Milik. Hopefully non are needed, but if they are it would be good experience for Lambert and possibly Fricke. Hopefully Lambert will be the home wild card for Cardiff, and he got to have a better meeting then 2018, cant possibly get any worse. But there again Cookie could win the British final, or even Dan
  17. In response to CHR and JCookie - speedway is on a good run with under 21's world champ but it may not be always the case as JCookie has said. Fricke was unde 21 WC two years ago - he would have been struggled then to keep up with GP riders. I like the fact someone in the GPs can get an injury which halts them ie Vaculik for next year and NP this year., but can possibly get a wild card. Still getting over the fact wont see NP in the GPs (probably) again. If he has turned down 1st reserve for next year (as has been stated earlier post) then I can see his reason. Standing in for an odd meeting here and there is doing him no good, but he is box office so the organisers are likely to benefit.
  18. As I see it Madsen is a gater, just as Laguta is. (look at Laguta in the final last Saturday, Tai gated him and that was it - Laguta didn't even pose one challenge). I only going on what I see of him on tv ie SEC etc. So whats the reality from those who get to see him in Poland/Sweden.
  19. It would have been an extra Pole as Koledjei had qualified via Challenge, 4 in is 25%, 5 in would be too much at 31% of the field. 3/4 years ago a lot of people was saying the Pawlickis should be in the GPs. Both have found it to tough. Too soon for them? I reckon at least one will be back in 4 or 5 years and doing ok. Was surprised Nicki wasn't a wild card. Been interesting watching him, highly controversial, but a great racer.
  20. All been pointless to me for years now, stopped watching it a long while back. Just a money making machine now via phone calls.
  21. Now we will se what Madsen can do. Is he a racer or a fast starter (like Laguta). If he is a racer then he will add value, if he is a fast gater then he will be boring like Laguta.
