  1. Max Clegg has been better than Howarth for the last few weeks. Been a major problem for us. Belle Vue were worthy winners. They bullied us at the gate and in the first corner and we just didnt have any answers. Its a wake up call. There is no chance of Wolves doing anything in the play offs.
  2. Belle vue showing why there favourites tonight. Wolves have been a disgrace though. No fight whatsoever.
  3. Poor meeting. Swindon were a disgrace and put up virtually no fight at all (even Leicester were better than that). Such a shame as the majority of meetings at Monmore this year have been thoroughly entertaining, so I think I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Coventry in 2 weeks will be a much sterner test as they always go well at Monmore, and their vist earlier in the season was probably the most exciting meeting so far this year.
  4. You may change your mind when you see the prices for tickets, travelling, accommodation, food and drink etc. Cardiff isn't exactly cheap, but compared to what Wembley would be....
  5. Coventry look an absolute husk of a club. Sad to see one of Britain's greatest clubs in what appears could be it's death throes.
  6. Thoroughly enjoyed it last night. I was in the top tier on the second bend and that seemed a lot fuller than in previous years. I had my Rio 2016 cap which I bought at the Maracana last year,so maybe that was an omen for Lindback!?! He rode brilliantly and was a well deserved winner. I'm not sure whether this was better than 2010. Certainly very little to choose.
  7. Would have snapped your hand off for a point at 7 of clock. Well deserved and a very good meeting. Needed a result bearing in mind we are merely fulfilling the fixture tomorrow. Big concerns over Howarth though. Will have to consider changes if he doesn't get his act together. Can't afford to carry two reserves. Slightly concerned that Masters faded as the meeting went on yet again
  8. Shut up Pearson. You've milked it enough about 93
  9. Don't see PK doing much on this track. He'll be stopping for oxygen round there.
  10. If Wolves want to be in the play offs, we need so much more from reserve. Howarth has been a huge disappointment so far
  11. Doubt many Wolves fans will be there given the team and the weather.
  12. Very big win for Belle Vue if the weather doesn't intervene
  13. Eventually a good win for us, after a spirited battle by the Bees. Excellent meeting tonight with some terrific racing. I've been a big critic of the lack of good racing in the last 5 seasons, but the last few matches at Monmore have been very good.
  14. Good that Bech and the club appear to have parted on good terms. I'm not all that sure about PK returning, as his form this year hasn't been particularly outstanding, though I guess it will help that he won't be expected to nag in 15s and 14s every week given our good form at the moment. Have to say it shows the stupidity of the regulations with averages that he will likely be a reserve on Monday (incidentally, his last appearance as a reserve in the UK was at Oxford on October 12th 1990!). Something the BSPA need to review again in the winter.
  15. Wolves have been bullied out of this tonight. 3 heat wins all night says it all.
  16. Track isn't the best, but Kylmakorpi showed you can pass on the outside if your brave enough. Need Masters and Bech to come to the party if we want to be in with a chance of nicking a point.
  17. Best meeting I've seen at the Green for a while. Pleased with the win though Kings Lynn deserved a point, taking advantage are of woeful displays by Masters and Howarth. In fairness they could have got more had some fairly strange decisions gone their way and the likes of Batchelor turned up.
  18. The track clearly needs a lot of work to rectify the problem soon before somebody comes away from there with a bad injury. Holder is clearly going through the motions, but good on him for speaking his mind about the track.
  19. Delighted with the win to put us back at the summit. My second trip to Leicester and I was curious to see for myself whether the standard of racing had improved. In fairness there were one or two good moments of racing, especially a cracking heat 13 between Starke and Kylmakorpi. By and large though, it was pretty ordinary. Have to say the crowd was really poor. But when te home teams struggling and the weather is poor, it's not a huge suprise. A real pity because it's a cracking little venue. If more thought had gone into the track, they could have had something really special.
