Swindon V Coventry Select Thur 4th Sep

Seems a shame to being going with Jorgensen and R/R when we could have had (assuming they're available) Nicholls and Kurtz. -

No. It says stationary UNTIL the green light. -
Coventry V Swindon - Wednesday 2nd September
SCB replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Never at Coventry. He had great meetings for us at Swindon, BV, Leciester and I think Wolves. But was never that good at Brandon. In fact tonight is his first good meeting at Brandon. He score 2 as a heat leader in 1 meeting and 7 from 5 as a second string in another and that included beat Tom Stokes, the blank Coventry had reserve than night and Rob Lambert when he had an EF. -
Rolling, Moving And Jumping At The Start

So those slagging off Havvy for defending James Sarjeant are wrong then and Havvy is right to defend his rider. Sarjeant is breaking no rules by rolling and jumping. -
Can someone find me the rule that says rider cannot roll, move, jump, anticipate at the start please.......

I apologise for criticising the choice of Fricke. A superb choice. I know it's only a 4 point win but my God after heat 12 I didn't see that coming! -

TBF after the crap at the last Sky meeting with dodgy weather I'm amazed anyone has bothered! -

it depends how wet. Joonas and Bomber were on maximum vs Poole until it got too wet. Garrity doesn't give a crap, his issue that was touching the tapes then getting a gate 2. The same team (pretty much) revelled in the wet at Lakeside last year when it rained for 30 minutes about an hour before the start. -

The rain? Not Hans Andersen riding like he has/is, the sticking with Robbo guests as the team started to lose form... There's a few things but the rain isn't really one of them. -

Data logging is not illegal. As long as it solely logs rather than feeds back. Lindback was using it about 10 years ago. There must be something as Lindback was using a laptop in the past. -

Poole Pirates Vs Kings Lynn Stars 02/09/15

Mainly they want to win as they want momentum. The lose at home and suddenly Swindon are thinking, "we've won at Coventry recently, Poole have lost at home too......" -

There is no FIM longtrack this weekend. There is next weekend. Looks like Pijper and Wilkinson just didn't fancy it. I'm sure the BSPA will understand when the fans just don't fancy it too! Well that explains that one. Thanks. -

Careful what you wish for! Robins win at Brandon tonight, then at Lynn and before you know it they're top of the league and Poole are 2nd (or even 3rd!) -

We have no agreement with Poland. In fact we have the complete opposite to the point that PZM permit holders are banned from the PL. Yet we're not letting riders go off and ride in Poland. I'll guarantee that Carl Wilkinson is not riding in Poland too! -

I assume both will be banned then. It makes a mockery of what is meant to be one of the PLs biggest meetings if teams can send their reserve! -

Belle Vue, Kings Lynn Or Swindon For 3rd/4th Spot
SCB replied to Trevor's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It depends who Wolves have in reserve. They were going to use James Wright on Monday, thats was going to lead to a 10 point head start to BV straight away. BVs top 4 is slid enough, as it has shown in pretty much every away meeting to prevent anything worse that a 40 point over all score, so with the bigger advantage in reserve it looks good for BV. -

KK hasn't got the confidence to be doing anything but ride his own race right now. And don't forget that last weekend Tai had a spat with KK after a race himself. TBH I didn't think KKs move on Nicki was anywhere near as bad as some of Nickis 2nd bends over the years. As for Zmarzlik, I saw that as him realising it wasn't Nicki behind him and just trying to keep Nicki well back and probably knowing it would get people talking That said, I've no doubt what so ever that over the years riders have helped others out in a time of need. Joe Screen let Mark Loram around him very easily at Bydgoszcz in 2000 the night Mark won the title for a start. Right now Tai doesn't really need help from friends. -

If a Leicester fan had typed out what happened at Lynn last night you'd have laughed at them. So I'll simply go with, "we've seen weirder things in the last 24 hours" -

Good luck with that! I think most managers and promoters struggle to do just that! -
Guest or squads - neither is perfect. Both have big flaws. As said many times, I prefer the idea of a guest pool. So in the UK Greg, Emil, Woffy, THJ etc would all be available to guest. That way you're not using your oppositions riders, yoiu're allowing some of the less regular riders to have the off meeting over here form time to time when it mutually suits....
