Only someone who doesn't drive and pay for a car could think having to pay £80 to get to a speedway meeting is "dedication". The average person pays about 40p a mile every time they drive their car so anyone travelling 100 miles to a speedway meeting is in terms of money more dedicated. Thats without taking into account 30 miles will be 40-odd minutes each way while 100 miles will be nearer 2 hours. It's not that exceptional really.

Who are all these Swedish home grown riders? I bet the EL has more Brits than the Swedish League has Swedes!

Heat 13 was great a race as you're ever likely to see. Had to been able to pause it after 2 laps I don't think there is a single person who could have said with any confidence what the result was going to be, it could have still very easily ended as a home 5-1

Ward score at Poole wasn't as bad as some people are making out. He had an EF in one race and dropped 2 points other than that.

Could probably say the same of the Bees too - especially vs a depleted Leicester side. Without Walasek who's been superb at Brandon this season they're Lions to the slaughter (see what I did there?!). I actually feel really sorry for Leicester this year, I think they've had so some decent riders this year and at times have looked close to a decent team on paper but injuries and riders attitudes have gone against them big time.

It wasn't GB final results as that would have been King then Garrity. BSI picked Garrity and Lambert. Lambert was not even in the British final having failed in the semi. Jason Bunyan, James Sarjeant, Andrew Appleton and Phil Morris have all raced in the NZ titles (and won them a few times between them!) and the Aussies had Nicholls and Lindgren in their a few years ago. So you can invite anyone you like in theory. Lambert does NOT have an ACU license as the SCB have said that is why he didn't do the U21 rounds as they could not nominate him and presumably the DMSB picked Germans.

I've watch the video a few times, looked at a few photos. And I have no seen one angle that even begins to suggest Nicki was in the wrong.

Obviously very unlucky to have been involved in and excluded for 2 very bad crashes in a week. He's clearly not fair if he knocking riders off is he? If he was fair he'd not be excluded. Fair would suggest that Kerr and Howarth would be the ones excluded. Also, if he's always fair why did he admit on twitter he apologised to Danny King earlier in the season?

Its pathetic. The teams you rider twice should be your first 4 and last 4 meetings so there's as big a gap between them as possible.

For a sport that is run of figures it amazes me how many people don't get them figures!
