  1. Going back to the who can come in for Robbo. From July 1st the Bees have 6.69 points to replace him! Also, Hans is very likely to drop to second string in August.
  2. Sweden had a 5th non-riding rider at both meetings, the Americans had a 5th rider with them, GB had Howarth at both meetings, I'm sure the Poles had somewhere there as well. The Aussies often have numerous extra riders in the pits (Brady Kurtz was at Lynn for a start), Hans was there for the Danes.... As for the rest, it's not like they're going to win so it doesn't really matter too much anyway.
  3. It's simple enough, if countries wish, they can name a 5th rider. He is not programmed to ride but he can take any 5 rides. The countries wanting to save money will just name 4 riders and take the risk, those not being so tight will name a 5th man. So what if that 5th man is Hancock, Woffinden, Hampel, AJ or Holder - thats tactics. But he can ONLY take 5 rides. It could be he takes all 5 of one riders rides, or the last 5 rides so you end on a high. Let the team managers manage!
  4. Last season Hansen had some brilliant meetings where he beat some of the leagues top guys - he score double figures down at Poole when the Bees won there. But other times he couldn't beat fast track riders. So damn frustrating.
  5. And the BSPAs bottle of tippex/rubber rulebook.
  6. So you don't think all this discussion is great for the sport? You can't buy this promotion!
  7. Come into work this morning and someone said to me, "you like that speedway thing don't you?" ...... "that was a brilliant. Does that always happen?". It seems even non-speedway people are picking up no this one!
  8. And something else, I said it months ago and it's even more obvious with Hans continuing to struggle...... Move King to #2 FFS!
  9. Pedersen has managed to get a 21 page thread on the BSF in 24 hours. He certainly knows how to make us talk about him!
  10. I said at the start of the year Workington team was pants in part due to Hansens near 8 point average. But now I say that team looks pretty bloody good, in part due to Hansens 4.5 average. Could see them surge up the table and make the play-offs.
  11. The issue was, Poole fans cheered when the ambulance come out. Thats pretty sickening and it NOT a spur of the moment thing where you are cheering because your team has just gained.
  12. Why is the tout any different to the ticket office on Wood Street? Both are 3rd parties who buy the tickets off BSI and sell them on to me!
  13. Mikkel Michelsen (thats who I'd go for), Hansen (or maybe not!!), Lahti (not sure he's that much better tbh), Klindt (injured ATM), Ljung (probably not interested), Lasse Bjerre, Artur Mrockza, Rene Bach,
  14. Now technically, thats not true. BSI have already had the money for the ticket Zagar and Pedersen show how the throttle works both ways..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUfhUYtfDZU
  15. I bought a book of 24 stamps in about 2005 and still have about 5 of them left in my wallet - it pays to buy stamps in bulk, thee value only ever goes up!
  16. Because nobody expected Hans to fail to beat an opponent?! If he had score 6 then Coventry would have got a point. As for Robbo, Coventry have about 5.8 points available if they replace him. Now Robbo is a nice guy and all that but is he the answer when we have so much to play with?
  17. So my letter to the Head of Sky Sports is wasted? That stamp is 30p I won't be getting back then! I think the whole thing is hilarious I never had Greg down as a comedian or a thug but he's proved to be both in the last 24 hours One other thing, quote from my sister who picked up on this from my facebook and twitter comments, "If this always happened I'd go to speedway". Shes talking about coming to Cardiff for the GP - would be her first speedway meeting in about 10 years. So ban them? Fine them? No way, give them both a promotion bonus!!
  18. I posted something similar on a recent thread about Greg getting an easy time - a few people agreed. So it's not just BWitcher who thinks it. Nobody is saying they don't pass him, but they certainly don't move him over like they do to other riders.
  19. So are you saying that really, all this stick Nicki gets is harsh as in the past there were harder/dirtier riders so really Nicki is an angel? I don't get it. If all them riders are so much harder than Nicki, aren't they the real bad guys?!
  20. I don't want to say I told you so, so in stead I shall just say, I informed you thusly. The points limit was too high, it has caused issues for Swindon and Leicester.
  21. https://www.facebook.com/stefan.jarl2/videos/10204585274292067/ From that angle Greg runs into the back of Nicki.
  22. The Pedersen move tonight was a nothing move. Greg has gone wide and Nicki has cut back and got in front of Greg. 6 of one....
  23. Hancock punching someone is disgusting. But my God is it the greatest, most entertaining thing Greg has ever done! And frankly, a speedway rider hitting another is so irrelevant when you consider most of them crash quite often anyway so a punch, slap or diving attack in Hancock style is hardly going to register on the pain scale to a speedway rider.
