Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 17/6/15
SCB replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He looked across but I fail to believe he looked across, saw him team mate and aimed for him. I think he thought he was further ahead than he was and tried to go wide but Robbo was already there. Stupidity/inexperience rather than any intent. -
Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 17/6/15
SCB replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Look at the heat 2 result of the last 2 Pirates Bees meetings the tell me how confident you are of Newman being that much better than Sarjeant! As for Garrity aiming for riders. I seriously doubt it, he's not got the control to aim for riders Personally, I just hope all Bees riders keep an eye on Newman down the back straight! -
Workington V Rye House 13/05/15 19:00hrs (pl)
SCB replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Has Kenneth Hansen been sacked yet? It seems when I predicted a 6.5 average for him I seriously over rated him! It looks like when I said he'd have good and bad meeting, he only got the memo about the bad meetings! -
Swc Final 2015
SCB replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
So rather than have it the next day when fans have travelled from around the World, you want it tobe re-run at a later date meaning people have to go back again? You also seem to be of the opinion British Speedway is a friend of BSIs and vice-versa. Trust me, thats not true. The GPs have been bad for British Speedway taking the Friday and Saturday race nights that British Speedway used to have before the GPs come along. -
Swc Final 2015

Quest showing Le Mans. Could be the case there is no love SWC in the UK. For all Sky Sports faults if they still has the SWC it would be on the red button live. -
Swc Final 2015
SCB replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If this was British Speedway they'd have got to heat 12!! -
Denmark - Pedersen and Ivesen Sweden - Lindback and Lindgren Poland - Janowski and Buczkowski Australia - Holder and Doyle Thank you
-
How many people watched it and said, "We used to have a speedway track in XXX*". Used to amaze me in the Tim Stone era the people who would say to me, "we used to have a rack in Newport" when I mentioned speedway in Newpport. *XXX = there local town or city.

Orions point is spot on. When I complained about the Lakeside heat 10 a few people told me I was wrong, nobody agreed with me. 4 weeks later it's the the worst thing ever.

Swc Final 2015

Bjerre has been doing ok in Poland. Its only for Lynn he's been pants. While Hans has not exactly been having a great season, nor MJJ. It's a weird one, most Danes are struggling this season - still think they'll be too good for the rest tomorrow. -
Because they didn't have wildcards in 2010. But after Lee missed out that year and Tai in 2011 they realised they needed to make sure the top guys didn't miss out again so brought in the wildcards. Yet for some reason don't actually use them. That fine if you don't want to use them but then don't have rules for it! After yesterday, how many bums on seats do you think Robert Lambert would add to the meeting?

British Final...then And Now
SCB replied to customhouseregular's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Why? It's ok him doing that but when it comes to GP qualifier places and U21 place will the Germans give him a place? He needs to get rid of the German license, take out a British one and the BSPA also need to get him into the GB final by whatever means. -
Thank you I need every point I can get right now after Hampels injury! Still hoping Jacques picks a few duff riders in the final! TBH, with the final being a lot more even, there's a better chance of people picking some duff riders and for some people (me!) to make a real attack on some of the top people (Jacques!)

The only chance he had to use the joker was on Lamberts ride. Don't forget that without a joker we'd have pulled back 3 points there and may not have had another chance to use it. I thought the GTR was a standard engine? So are their different types meaning riders will need more than one of them? So suddenly it's not so cheap.

It doesn't matter if it's 6,8,10,12 or 14. If a track in dangerous and someone says, "just two more heats to get a result" they have sent riders out on a dangerous track, that is wrong.
-
Also my picks scoed 76 according to speedwayupdates and sportowefakty.

Lambert has surely shown tonight, he's our 2nd best rider. He scored 8 from 4 in a meeting where Bart Zmarzlik who has won a GP scored 10 from 5 shows he's up there with the best of the U21s in the World and the best of GP wildcards. He should be at Cardiff regardless of GB final results. Just listening to his interview there post meeting, what a smashing lad with a great attitude and approach.

Harris has been a disappointment. Lambert and Woffy been great. King about what I'd expect. May change my mind in the next 4 heats though!
-
How great is it watching Robert Lambert?!
-
looked 50/50 to me. I'm not complaining. Tonight though

A referee with a pair of bollocks! Well done that man!
-
Magic jumped that start there!

Who the hell has Virgin and not Sky these days?!
