Well I was going to say go down the pub - d'oh! They tend to take a day or two. But there are often streams online to watch it live. It's technically illegal, but I think the illegal side is the person streaming it not the person watching it. Another option is http://www.eurosportplayer.co.uk/ costs £4 a month in seems. or £39.99 for a year. Gets you GPs, SWC and Swedish speedway legally.

Stead was probably thinking, "we think that every time you're on track mate"

Who Was Best, Louis Senior Or Louis Junior?
SCB replied to Terry's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I always thought Chris was very under rated and didn't get half the recognition he deserved tbh. Such a shame his top class career was ultimately cut short by a rogue pole (note the lower case p!) in Poland. -

This kind of thing boils my piss. Last place I worked had an equality and diversity team (which I was invited to be a member of - can't think why!!!), anyway, there was a women in management week, I refused to have anything to do with it as it was biased, PC and lead to able and competent men being over looked just because they had a penis. They hated me, I'd argue against any of their little agendas. So many arguments were had because by trying to be "equal" they ended up not being equal. -
I'm sure I've just given all them riders the kiss of death!

Oh please! One of the captains was due out in heat 10 and sat in the pits instead and his team mangers agreed with the decision! -

How does Kelvins reaction say anything about me? It's a good job this is the BSF so it'll get lost amongst all the other stupid posts. Frankly, thinking someone is "good" just because they tried it is moronic. She is was poor, why not say it? She is not good enough for a work permit and never will be. No doubt it now says "more about me" but why is being realistic seen as a bad thing? Someone asked a question, I tried to answer it diplomatically by referring to what the expert had to say but you chose to have a dig at me - I'd say that says a lot more about you! -
Totally agree, As much as I may dislike Matt Ford the way he runs the club on race night and the way he promotes Poole Speedway is what everyone else should be aspiring too. No doubt all this praise of Poole is confusing poor starman (and Phil Rising)

I didn't have you down as a 5 year old. Ask any non-Poole fans their thoughts on Magic Janowski and I bet the vast majority will tell you he's great, on and off track. Ask non-Poole fans their thoughts on Darcy Ward and most will tell you he is a pillock who is bloody great to watch on a speedway track. Just because someone rides for Poole doesn't make them the anti-christ. I said numerous times last season I was a Milik fan, I admited last night I'd sign Magic in a heart beat if I was a promoter, I'm a fan of Kyle Newman. But because I don't like Ford, Middlo and Ward I'm a "Poole hater" according to some. For a Poole hater I spent an awful lot of time in the company of Poole fans at Cardiff last year, had a really good laugh with them. My comments on Darcy are because he's Darcy Ward, NOT because he's a Poole rider. Frankly, having to see/hear/read the likes of you, Nigel and Kelvin (the speedway media basically) fawning over him just makes my dislike of his greater. I have to question what he has to do before one of you says anything negative about him.

I think it said it all when Kelvin had to stifle a laugh when Nigel asked him for his thoughts. -

Actually wasn't a bad meeting TBF. He might be Poole number 1 in theory the anti-Christ but I love him. Would have him in my team quicker than Matt Ford could drop him! -

So what about heat 3? Magic shut off to allow North to pass him. Throwing the race? -

I bet Lambert is speaking a few octaves higher right now. Any man not wincing at that one is not really a man! -
The rules changed for last season.
-
It will be signposted from the motorway - just follow them.
-
I think that is the 7 main reasons I don't attend any more. That and the constantly ignoring and breaking rules.
-
This meeting, and the final, will be shown live in Quest - a free to air freeview channel - so anyone with a digital tele can watch without a subscription.
-
And theres why you'll get double up rider clashes! one man (woman, or child) should compile the fixtures. on that note, I know someone who has quite a nifty fixture compiler that could be tweaked fairly easily to work!
-
But then people would get annoyed with him, rate him 10 and his average would go up and he'd get dropped!
-
Yeah, that'll show Conda not to go against the majority! Wanting to ride, the silly fool!
-
Can we not just get all fans to rate riders for excitement as they leave? From 1-10. Bit with 10 being boring and 1 being most exciting. Then use a rolling average of this. So that the more exciting riders have lower averages. Clubs will only sign exciting riders then! Or the boring ones only if they can score big points.

It's not about winning and losing as a team though tbf. It's about "winning" as a sport - maybe his ideas won't win Lakeside meetings but will win Lakeside (and Poole, Swindon, Coventry.....) fans. It would be nice if for once promoters stepped back, stopped trying to screw over each other and helped each other, built each other up and made the league stronger. Once that was done, back to war and trying to beat each other.

I'm going to repeat whats has already been said but unless we keep repeating it the powers that be won't listen. The issue with the heat 10 rules is that if a meeting gets to heat 10 and it's dangerous, they call the meeting off and award the points, I think we all get and agree to that. Where we have an issue is if they get to heat 4,5,6,7,8 or 9 and it gets dangerous they say, "we just have to get to heat 10" - that is wrong! If it's bad, it's bad and should be stopped - not "just 2/3/4/5 more heats".
