Lakeside cheating tut tut. Rule state cant have a facility for a rider who had not ridden for you. So no facility allowed for Boxall. Then I look at the GSAs and see not to worry Lakeside have reverted to their previous 1-7 with Birks in the team but that means he should have been riding as he was not riding PL. Once again the rules of the sport ignored. Why do we even bother?

I've posted on the forum before I'd be happy to talk to someone at the BSPA about tweaking it to suit the sports needs.

Was it a stadium? I missed them, Somerset and Scunthorpe out as they were more track in a field to start with. Newport and Leicester had/have permanent buildings.
-
How long did it take Leicester and Newport? (the only two "stadiums" that have been built in the last 15ish years). I'm sure Newport went up in about 6 months. They have 12 months for this one so no need to panic yet!

We had Rosco. You've got Lemon. We had Sandhu, you have Morton. Yeah, I'm not sure you're really in the same position -

In UK law that would quite simply be an unfair term. It's why for UK events they have to say at which heat a refund (or partial as in the case of league racing) is due. And TBH, even that could be deemed unfair. Fair is what any fair minded person would deem acceptable. -
To explain. You get the 2.5% reduction for 3 years from when you achieve your first average. Although Jason rode PL in 2011 (for Leciester) he didn't get an average. His first average was achieved in 2012, meaning he gets a reduction in 13,14 and 15.

Sheffield have 6.67 to replace Bellego. Garritys average is 6.75 - 2.5% = 6.58

So it is. Such a big event it's not even on Kings Lynns or the BSPAs fixture lists
-
But I would imagine if the Russian authorities will refuse to give them start permission as they should be riding for Russia. I guess it's wait and see.

How entertained did you feel from heat 13 onwards? -
In some ways, Cook being there is better than Bomber. It'd be nice if the reserve was Rob Lambert (as Howarth, Newman and Garrity will all be unavailable due to EL/PL clases)

I'm not saying all was perfect. We were all pissed off by the inept referee and the ineptitude of the person who was in charge of the tapes. The track was not billiard table smooth either but it was just a little, not evenly a lot, of a challenge. But hey, we're told this is the best 16 riders in the World - surely they can over come that?! -
Odd one. Theres a clash on Thursday but that doesn't explain why he's missing Friday and Sunday.
-
Well owning to the fact Vatcher told us at Lynn on Sky that he was signed due to his away form he must be averaging about 11 this year then?!

We went into the interval, we as fans depending on where we were went to get another beer, a cup of tea, have a wee, maybe flicked over the BGT for 10 minutes. While we were doing that did a single fans, either in the stadium or at home at any point think, "this track is dangerous, this meeting is in doubt"? I'll go with no. -
A rider with a bit of talent will get the hang of any track after a few practice sessions or meetings.

I remember saying back in 2007 that Harris was IMO, one of, if not the faster rider in the World over 3.99 laps (sadly his first 0.01 was a bit pants) then he started changing things and was never as fast again. Now he has gone back to his 2007 set up/team and it seems to be working -

Why do Sky care about the GPs? Of course they not going to ask questions, they couldn't give a rubbish. You may have missed it but they've barely made any mention of the Polish and Swedish leagues for the last 15 years either. -

It was. From the riders. Who spat their dummies over having to go off the green light, gave it a go for a few heats and had another dummy spitting session before getting it called off. -

It was about £10 a ticket but I don't see the relevance. There WAS good racing. We saw passing in most of the 12 heats. And in a few where there wasn't a pass there was he chance of a pass as riders were chasing others. Not sure what relevance that has to my claim the riders have no right to criticize the track as they have never built a track themselves. You're talking rubbish Sidney. There was a pass in most heats/ Heat 1 - MJJ passes Nicki 2 - Woffy pasees Gollob 3 - No pass but Doyle was giving it some to pass Hancock. 4 - Similar to heat 3. Harris giving it some to pass NKI. 5 - Woffy passes KK, then passing THJ. THJ passes Woffy back. 6 - FTG 7 - Janowski sooped around Hancock 8 - FTG but hey, a Brit won it And Hampel in 3rd is not likely to pas anyone on track! 9 - Harris nips under Hancock with a fine move coming out of the bend 10 - FTG 11 - THJ passes THJ. Gollobre passes. Then THJ repasses! 12 - The rear 3 all giving it a good go. So 7 out of 12 heats had at least one pass and I make it 11 passes in total. I make any GP with them sort of ratios pretty good. As for the green flag rather than the tapes. Anyone who get their enjoyment out of watching the tapes if a fruitloop! The green light actually worked better. Moto GP and F1 don't use tapes FFS!
