Between Bjerre, Hans and Porsing it seems they're battling to be the worst Dane in the EL tonight

Musliak, the guy signed on 6.5 and average 4.86? The issue you have it that one his average drops, Thorsell foes back up to heatleader!

Are you aware that the guy that runs the SEC walked his club out of the Polish play off final a couple of years ago because he couldn't get his own way? And has sold Torun because he couldn't get his own way? -
Woah, we have to be careful criticizing the draft. It's been good to us the last 2 seasons. Oddly it's only Coventry who twice now have struggled so badly to find a guest. Anyway, if Ash Morris is confidence is so shot, tell Jason to shove Morris out of the way on bend 1 and Connor can get into 3rd and might be able to hold of a low on confidence Ash Morris. Similarly, hopefully Havvy will be telling our boys to give Bjerre some stick on bend 1 so he throttles off and ends up at the back.

A few years back chatting to Tim Stone in the bar at Newport he stated he didn't go out to win, he needed to make money and that was his focus. I wasn't sure if I admired his honesty or through he was stark raving bonkers! I get it's a business and has to be run as one but surely you have two equal focuses when you start building your team - to make money and win the league. Like you, I would expect any promoter to at least publicly claim he's going all out to win, Tim Stone didn't! Though I think that was the biggest issue with Tim, he was brutally honest at times Recently another promoter (and I cannot think who it was at the moment -possibly Neil Machin) said he made more money in poor seasons results wise than season where the club did well - if thats true you'll probably find a few promoters who are happy to plod along, giving he fans the odd year of success to placate them,

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?

Auty is riding PL. Cook is riding in the pairs. Hopefully Lambert will be the reserve. -
Weirdly no, and that is part of the reason the sport is in the mess it's in.

I think you have to be very careful taking anything from a Bees/Pirates meeting as they often throw up some weird and wonderful results. Then we got a result at Leicester and BV. Leicester are a bit hit and miss and BV, I think we just hit them on a good/bad (depending on who you are) day. Zagar had a stinker and when your number 1 is that bad, it's always going to be difficult. I think we have a good team, I think we should be in the play-offs but we are not invincible, I don't even think we're as good as we were in 2007 and we probably lost about 6 or 7 meetings at season. If Garrity can find some consistency, Joonas can score comfortable points when he's a heat leader from Friday (as so far he's not scored many points beating the top guys) then I'll be happy we're set fair for the play-offs and can be Champions. For now I'm just happy we're in a good place, have points on the board, we have everyone chasing us and things seem to generally be going well.
-
BV was probably very close to being like-for-like. Stead ride Brandon well but has been off form. While Cook in only one meeting at Brandon rode well. Zengi and Howarth were hardly brilliant. Rory almost certainly made Poole stronger and you would probably expect him to score a little more than Mikkelson over a season so Leicester were slightly stronger too but Rory wasn't very good that day tbh so it didn't matter. I'd say so far more has gone our way that against it and is we get to October and the worst luck we have had is Sarj missed a week, then we'll have done well and been lucky. Sarjs would not have scored 4 more that was needed to get us a win at Wolves (or the 3 to draw). And Frankly, it should matter if it's Sarj or any other half decent guest (I know some of the options are not great) they should be looking to beat Morris but they're never likely to beat any one else in the Lynn team. As for Lakeside, theres a few decent options available. I bet Ben Morely would love to score bit against Lakeside!
-
Kylmakorpi, King and Robson have all ridden for Lakeside , Hans had a brilliant meeting thee last season and Bomber is hit and miss there. Jason took to it last season too. Sarj is higher on the draft list Friday so a better guest is available - Josh Bates rode well last week so it Sheffield are not riding he's the obvious choice.
-
Well the British NL title has always been decided on track. Not because one team decided to sulk.
-
Try and XL bacon double cheese burger meal made large. It's £8.34!
-
It's going to rain anyway.
-
Lynn were never going to get a point once the TR had failed!! Probably one of the worst meetings to use to prove this point
-
Well, after Torun walked out of the play-off final a couple of years ago I think the British NL is better. You could probably better. I struggle to take the league seriously after that.

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?

Freddie Lindgren refused to ride for Sweden last year and Gollob has quit riding for Poland/the SWC. No idea about the Danes but probably not. It's not your license that determines what country you ride for, you could have a German license but not be eligible for Germany anyway, like Robert Lambert. -
Correct. If it was based solely on points scored at home, Poole would be top - but that wouldn't be fair because they could in theory score 70 at every away track and 55 at every home meeting.
-
This is why I hate discussing maths on here. You score more point at home as a % of your away scores. What is difficult to grasp about that? You score about 28% more (can't remember the exactly figure now but I looked it up last night to laugh at Trees suggestion) at home than you do at away meetings, that's more than any other team apart from Eastbourne in recent years. It basically says if you scored 40 in an away meeting, you'd be likely to score 51 at home.
-
Because the PL is professional and the NL is a training/development league (cue Parsloes.... ). From a Coventry POV it's great that our riders are getting high league experience with a view to going on and ride for the Bees. Would any Coventry fans really prefer that we do well in NL now rather than be a success with our juniors being promoting in the EL in years to come? If we stop our riders trying to better themselves we'll not have the next generation of Bees. It's a nice headache to have.
-
If Adam had any ambition, once a PL place become available he should take it - unfortunate for Birmingham but Adam needs to be pushing himself at a higher level and riding every week not every two weeks as is the case with Birmingham.
-
Based on how Jason went at Monmore last year Blackbird will do well to do that. Wolves will do the damage at second string - PK and Wells are flying - but if we can get the 3-3s in the heats by beating the reserves we can do it.
-
But a win is not a win if it's agreed you get more for bigger wins That was my initial reaction to Poole having a big home advantage but having checked it, amazingly, in the EL, after Eastbourne they have the 2nd biggest home advantage over the last 5 years assuming you take home scores as a % of away scores. Lynn and Wolves that are generally considered trick/difficult tracks though are quite low down!
-
Bit boring. I was hoping it was some huge manhunt, he had been hunted down and sent to prison for many years for some elaborate fraud
-
So more clubs should build teams that are good at home. But then you lose away and are less likely to get the 4 points (rather than 3 for a home meeting) available to you.
