Worked it out! I had included a meeting twice. But I still make him 6.24, which while over is not what the BSPA say!
-
Well lucky you not having to travel 140 miles to get there with a 6 year old who wants feeding. I got there at 5.41. We then went to the pub for food. Then went in Tesco to buy some sweets and drinks for the meeting (you need these things when you're 6 to keep you happy when the track grading is dragging a meeting on!), then a meeting advertised to start at 7.30 start at 7.50. We were out of the car park at 9.49. So over stayed by 8 minutes. Now maybe if they had not delayed the start by 20 minutes to allow the later arrivals to get in I may not have gone over the 3 hour limit. A 7.30 starting speedway meeting should be over by 9.30 to allows us to get back to the car for 9.41. But anyway, as pointed out, I'm not bothered. They can't legally do anything about it. It'd be akin to be charging someone £85 for reading my posts on the BSF. I can demand it, some mugs might pay up but no court will agree with me even if I have warned you. But if they do want to pester me for money, next time I won't bother going to Leicester and spending money in the local area. If we do some up for the speedway again we'll eat elsewhere. Surely they should be encouraging away fans to eating the local pubs and restaurants?!

How many of the riders have ever prepared a track? Yet it seems all 18 of them through it wasn't good enough. Lets see them do better. They can do the track for Cardiff. -

I go to watch speedway, 4 riders racing around a race track. The 16 best riders in the World. Nothing about it being the best track in the World - they stopped doing that years ago, hell we have Prague FFS, thats a permanent track but it's crap. I bet we saw more passing in 12 heats in Warsaw this weekend that we'll see in 23 in Prague in 5 weeks time. What rule did they change? And why should points be set to zero? Setting points back to zero would be, changing the rule book during the competition! -
Rumours that there are already issues with the track/infrastructure. Any truth?

I could be wrong but I seem to remember the winner gets about $12,000 to about $8,000 and that includes all expenses. That equates to about £1,000 a point for Zagar on Saturday though! My worry here is the riders took control, they got the meeting called off. So why should we all go to Cardiff where the same track is likely? -
Ah well. There we got then, one of myself or the BSPA have the numbers wrong.

He doesn't want to do EL so PL is unlikely. If my figures are right (or at least agree with the BSPAs) then I make it Schleins average drops lower than 6 in just over a week meaning he can double up (or even guest)

What the hell is up with Howe this season? Bikes? Injury?Or just a season too many now? -
How can track have a "NL track record"? This is another reason why I can't take track records serious. The track, is the track,it has a record. My other issue is it's normally recorded by a man with a stop watch, if his reaction are so good he can time heats with any accuracy he should be on a bike racing!

Maybe to the casual viewer at home it's better to have meetings at already established tracks but to the person in attendance, these big stadium work. Or why else are 14 of the 15 biggest speedway crowds in the last 14 years Cardiff and the other being last night? Suggest people want big, full stadiums. I still get as excited about Cardiff now as I did back in 2001 for the first one - rubbish track or not. And frankly, other than 2012 when the track was so good it didn't rut up, the racing at Cardiff has always been between alight and good. Without the rutting you just get follow the leader. So we now have 2 choices. Smooth, slick surfaces that allow the rides to ride around for 23 heats all content they're not going to crash OR we have a few ruts and bumps but we get passing. The first pleases the riders but bores the fans. The second upsets the riders but pleases the fans. Without the fans the riders can't earn a living, without the riders, well, we'll just find some more! -

The post on here from the Swedish press that said Nicki and Greg lead rider complaints about the track. Why else would they call it off? Maybe it was getting close to Gregs bed time now he's getting on a bit and he wanted to go home?! -

Anyone with a copy of the 2007 British GP who is defending this call off should watch that meeting again. The track had plenty of ruts and bumps but we still had a great meeting. Was the track really that bad? -

Fingers crossed things are not as bad as initially feared! Poor Steady, he's not had much luck with injuries his whole career, when he gets one it always seems to be a big one, hopefully thats not the case here. -

Has any other PL team ever contained 2 riders who both went on to finish on the podium of a GP together? Trelawny Tigers - Chris Harris and Matej Zagar have done it! -

I did during play Also bet on Holder under and AJ under 5. Sadly my KK under 9 has been void and my Doyle vs Holder - both of which looked good. Also bet on Woffy and lost that but made a tidy profit tonight -
