I dont get that. Do all people want to live in a house in the middle of nowhere then? I'd much rather be next door to some form of entertainent or a railway line for travel etc. I wonder if it would be possible to find a house with a pub, speedway track and train station within 100 metres? Because the thing would be worth nothing as nobody else wants to live there, I'd love it!

The points limit goes back up after a season. It only needs one season of being lower to weaken things enough to save a bit of cash and even things out.

38.5 Is actually 12 heats (more or less). Did the sport fall to bits when the limit was 41 in 1999? (41 with bonus points is lower than 38.5 without). Also, it surely better to have everyone on a real 38.5 rather than most on 42 and a strugling team in technically 42 but a couple of foreignors on 5s but only really worth that between them, this that team is actually only averging 37 anyway. A lower points limit should mean more equality.

He is. He has admited he is. He clearly stated on twitter two weeks ago he doesn't sign the riders for Poole. Remember the fuss at Eastbourne years ago when Sullivan pulled off the track so Eastbourne got a 5-0 (rather than a 5-1) so Poole could have a TR? He said that was Matts fault not his. He's a yes man or he would have not allowed that to happen if he didnt agree with it. We know this. Well Done for finally seeing it. Now what is Neil doing to change this?

And what do the Latvians and the Americans have? The Americans don't have 4 professional riders! They had to use a novice and still beat us, yes, we lost to a 3 man team! What about the Latvians? We do have more than them, we should be able to beat them. Is Woodward really better than Bridger and Barker? Honestly? So why did he outscore them both, one his own? TBF, I don't think you can acuse Barker and Bridger of not being proud. In fact Barker got into a confrontation at Cardiff one year because someone was supporting the Poles and not the Brits.

So people decided it wasn't working. They all refused the job, they wnated change. The BSPA were starting to panic, change was going t have to happen then Middlo who is inspirational, wonderful and all other superlatives that starman can come up with eventually buckled under immense presure and took back the job that he once quit as he didnt like the way things were going. What had changed in that 3-4 years he wasn't doing the job? Nothing. So Middlo has no integrity, a bit of preseure and he changes his mind. Middlo seems to get upset about the critisism (read his twitter) and doesn't agree with the way things are done but is still doing the job, WTF?!

So Middlo (or anyone else) is not capable of doing anything with Team GB as they're basically a bit rubbish? So why does he bother? In fact, if the manager cannot change anything, why bother at all? Hans & Nicki have always had an "interesting" working relationship (ie, they dont like each other). Ive had to do my job with people I don't like, we've all been there, done it and got the t-shirt. But when you're aiming for one common goal any person difference should be over come. When did Middlo last arrange a full strength GB vs XXXX test meeting/series? We all say our riders are inexperienced, haven't ridden abroad so why have we not had a meeting against the Czechs? Why not have a tour of Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Latvia, Australia and then have them come here. Dont give me bull about not fitting it in, the Poles have a few Polish meetings a year and this is international speedway, it would take priority over Poole vs Lakeside or whatever other EL meeting is taking place that night. Middlo once quit as he wasn't happen. Rob Lyon took over with a plan (with Jim Lynch in the middle) and the BSPA blocked it and got in the way, so he quit. Then in come Middlo to save the BSPA/SCB. He should have refused the job, everyone should have refused the job until the BSPA/SCB got their act together. Middlo coming in meant Rob Lyon had no way of getting things sorted as Middlo charged in to save their backside.

Once you've seen one presenter learn to ride a speedway bike you've seen them all. No doubt they either raced a professional but only for 2 laps vs their 4 of they filmed someone competent and claimed it was the guy learning.

TBF you'd struggle to find a bookie giving odds on second. So far the 3 winners have been Poland, Denmark and Australia. Pretty obvious don't you think? Ok we had a couple of days if believing we could best the Aussies but we still knew they were favourites. Denmark will win again tonight.
