  1. If you don't know then don't post with such authority. I'm not being a dick, I'm right. You're the dicks still arguing when you've been proven wrong. Seriously, know when to give up and apologise for being wrong. If you can't do the decent thing and apologise for being wrong at least sneak off quietly.
  2. No such rule. There's the rules that says, "18.12.2 A rider may ride as a Guest (in an Official Meeting) at a Track only once in an 8-day period unless he is replacing the Home Teams #1 or is a NDL rider guesting for the Home Team". Who has he guested for at Somerset in the last 8 days? How about you all accept I was right. No guest allowed for riding in Denmark. He didn't guest for Poole, he rides for Poole. FFS, what is it with speedway fans and making everything so idiot difficult? Why are speedway fans so thick? He can't guest for because Somerset can't have a guest for a rider riding in a DMU meeting.
  3. Which agreed by all parties but? The rules say clubs cannot agree to ignore the rules.
  4. Why does 18.10.1 apply? 18.10.1 applies to FIM meetings, Paddys meeting is NOT an FIM meeting. Willing to have a friendly wager with anyone that this facility isn't allowed. £20 to the SRBF say Brady isn't allowed to ride.
  5. Someone tell them excitement doesn't build while people are stood around doing sod all!
  6. But hes not riding in an FIM meeting. So 18.10.1 is NOT relevant. 16.5.1 d) says a facility is allowed but nowhere does it say a guest is allowed, just the normal facility for a missing 2-5 rider. Which is R/R.
  7. What rule are you looking at? a is the first part of the priority list, so all of Edinburghs meetings are Wells, "original fixtures". Only after that do you care about who owns the rider.
  8. How have Somerset got a guest for Hougaard? R/R only for a rider missing from 2-5 in the averages unless he's a doubling up rider.
  9. I'm all for backing Brits but Clegg has failed massively so far this season. It's just not worked for him so understand why he's been dropped. Yes we have to back the Brits but Wolves have to try and win too.
  10. No, the rules says that the original fixture has priority. That means everyone of Edinburghs fixtures have priority over Rye Houses. Why do speedway fans make things so difficult? The only time Rye will have priority is if Edinburgh change a fixture to class with one of Rye Houses. A terrific signing based on current form tbh. Thats IS the rule. Ffs, speedway fans, muddy the waters since 1928.
  11. http://speedway-stats.co.uk/Averages/2017/1 Current averages, including KOC but not challenges or Elite Shield. All meeting upto Wolves vs BV on Tuesday.
  12. I had my disagreements with him over the years but there was no doubting that Bryn only ever wanted the best for speedway. Everything he did appears to be to try and make the sport better and keep the sport running. I hope tonight is a massive success in his honour.
  13. If you ignore Morris, Kurtz, Cook and Bjerre.
  14. Ouch! Holders averaging 6 and Lynn have lost at home already. Do those who thought Lynn were any good want to reconsider yet?
  15. I would imagine Rye are boosted by Lakeside and Bees fans wanting and EL fix and Rye fans being interested in something a little different. I hope it continues. Always good to hear a clubs attendances are up.
  16. It's once 4 home and 4 away have been completed. Not 3/3.
  17. Somerset have been in the EL (or Premiership) 5 minutes and Shovvy is already making friends
  18. The BSPA/SCB should at least be investigating Poole and there lies!
  19. You can't use "Pooles 45" because there will be teams averaging 39! You have to use 42. somewhere between 1.2 and 1.25 is about right. Most certainly not last season final average.
  20. No ti doesn't. If it's 42 it makes sense for it to be 120-125% of their previous EL average, rather than 140% like at the start of the year.
  21. I dont see how. Without a TR a 6 point win, with a TR a 3 point win. Either way it's 3 home points and 1 away point. But this way you got a last heat decider, surely that's a good thing?
  22. This winds me up with Royal Mail and other delivery companies. The person sending is the customer and has to do the complaining. It's winds me up even more when I have had to pay for postage, meaning I AM the customer. Sadly, companies rarely want to spend the time complaining to the delivery company.
  23. Odd question. Same place as all meetings. Rent, wages and insurance mainly I would have though.
