Havent they been promising to sort it for about 5 years now? As Fingersfin says, Pragues a great city but the speedway is rubbish.

I have about 500 blank programmes at home, I printed them with my left over print credits at Uni. I can just write the 14 named in on the left one time and my programme is ready to fill in. Mind you, I have not filled in a programme for 5 years now! The only time it's an issue is while watching GPs.

Speedway Gp In Tatters !

Where's the £30 London hotels? Whenever I've looked for London hotels its over £100 a night. Well it is to stay anywhere near anything worthwhile. Anything less and you're staying so far out you may aswell stay in Newport on Cardiff weekend. Plus I go to about 50 meetings a season, I never stay in hotel, so I've just saved you £100. -

I agree the m4 though Newport is shocking (any road in Newport is, the whole city is a rubbish hole) and yes the French charge you a whole £6 to get in (have a couple of pints less or buy your ticket in the day saving a booking fee) but the car park? You're joking right? There's one a 100 foot from the main entrance and another do many others within half a mile. Not to forget park and ride. It's the centre of Cardiff ffs! It's £5 for a days parking on the council pay and displays too, I don't know a city that's that cheap (infact it more than makes up for the £6 you give to the French to enter Wales) I don't even use Cardiff Car parks and I know where they are! I guess I'll just leave the car at home and stroll into the centre when I wake up GP day (the joys of living more or less in the stadium shadows!) How anyone can criticise Cardiff I'm not sure. What do you want/need that Cardiff or the surrounding areas don't have? Drinking, shopping and sleeping withing a 5 minute drunken stumble of your seat (unless your on bend 2 or the back straight, then it's about 8 minutes). Cinema? 2 within 10 minutes another 20 minute stroll down into the Bay where Dr Who fans can oragasm all day. If you don't want a 20 minute stroll try about 5 minutes on the boat seeing Cardiff by river as you go (I'll give you a wave as you sail by too). Want to go go karting? Less than a 10 minute walk from the stadium. Want a beach? 10-15 minutes in the car. Airport? Bristol 45 minutes, Cardiff 15-20 by car/bus. Train station 2 minutes away. Ice rink and massive pool "in the Bay" (they claim it is, I'd suggest it's not, only those too poor to afford to live in the real Bay claim its the Bay but meh!) and for those who like sailing and water sports theres plenty of that too. We even have McDonald's, Burger Kingd and an Ikea!! What is it people want from Cardiff? Because as I see it everything you could want is in walking distance or reasonable driving. Since moving to Cardiff 6 months ago I use the car for work, that's it. I walk everywhere now (unless I'm being truly lazy!) As for Cardiff not having speedway tracks, how many does Wembley have? :s Newport is closer to Cardiff than any speedway track is to Wembley! Cardiff isn't cheap? I live here I want to know whats expensive?! If you mean tickets and travel, well unless you live in Wembley you'll pay that to go there too! -
I wouldn't bother because if Ben qualifies for Cardiff as wildcard or reserve he won't be in the pairs!
-
So what's Bowden planning? No Wells which would suggest no 3 pointer :s I can't see where he's going tbh :s
-
Lets be honest, it made no sense what so ever! God knows where 6 come from. Was just a random figure I think.
-
Sticky was apparently because his converted average come to less than 3. While Wells needed a work permit. So about £2 a point then!
-
Yet weirdly at Coventry he lead 90% of races into bend 1 but sadly he'd miss the corner half the time. The other half the time he'd only have a 50/50 chance on the next corner and then on the next corner he'd only have a 50/50 chance. Repeat until bend 3/4 or lap 4 The only time it worked was when someone risked a move around the outside I think I could enjoy watching Fil at PL level actually. He's just not an EL rider, certainly not one we kept signing on a 4 point average! About 5.15
-
Fil would make a mockery of his 5 point average in the PL. He can gate and wobble around and most PL riders won't have a clue how to pass him. Even on a tiny track like Plymouth he could get 7+
-
Well the few who do turn up would get the place then wouldn't they? Lucky them.
-
It's a fair point. People call speedway riders nice guys, loverly guys, kind guys. So what. Give me a prick of a guy who wins races and is exciting over a "nice guy" who is pants. If I want to meet "nice guys" I'll go out socialising. Frankly, most people couldn't care less about the personality or the private lives of speedway riders, we care about what we see on track.

The best bit about that video is, "The crowd are on their feet". Well yeah, only about 10 people can sit down at Somerset anyway
-
Sounds like Bowden and Boxall are made for each other!
-
Give it a month. Hes retired 3 times now, dont expect him to last the season!
-
Was just thinking that :s

Go Frank. Showing the kids how it's done - or probably how it shouldn't be done really but it still works for Frank -

Hans, the guy who averaged less per GP than the World Champion Jason Crump. And once Crumpy won the title he pretty much stopped scoring that season. I could be wrong but I think that was the most dominant season ever by a rider in the GP's, Crumpy was phenominal. Admittedly Has was good but Crumpy more so. A better argument would have been Mark Loram in 1999. -
There are a number of forumers who would confirm that my attempts at making breakfast are not the best! You're probably best staying away!

But in fairness, you do gain, you score more than the other riders if you make the semi and if you make the final you have just got 2 or 3 points anyway from the semi. I don't like the idea of more points. Mind you, I dont like the idea of a GP winner having less points than the guy who come last in the semi, potentially! 15 vs 6+2+6 -
And Crumpy is British then.
-
I was being a little facetious. But It's not like Newport own a load of big names they can sell to make reasonable money. TBF, I doubt any PL clubs does. Mind you, Newports asset base isn't the greatest, despite a reasonable effort from the Malletts.
-
So the EL is rubbishe but the PL that's not as strong as the EL is better? What sort of messed up logic is that?
-
What assets? Mellgren, Kurtz and Jones wont be worth much!
