  1. Sit where ever you like once you get in there.
  2. I can walk into Tesco, look around, see nothing I like, walk out and not pay a penny. In fact I can do that at any shop or market.
  3. It's the FIM, they do as they wish I can't answer that one sorry.
  4. I don't get why there is a charge for this? Tescos don't charge £1 to enter :s
  5. So it's a few pints, then, "Climbing Walls, an inflatable assault course, paintballing and much, much more" before going and having a quiet sit down the the Millenium Stadium?
  6. Each country applies for the number of places they want and then someone at FIM towers allocates places based on the number of places requested and the countries standing. Lets be honest, we have 4 in the next round, who else do we have that would have got this far bearing in mind Tai is not an option as he failed to make last years GB final. Robbo, Bridger, Allen, Lanham...
  7. Bit they do hike the prices up And I'm informed they do normally close at 6:30, I guess thats their argument for hiking the price up, they stay open later. I guess sometimes it is worth listening to Sandie
  8. Find a long stay pay and display and it's about £5 all day. You may want to ignore Sandie, the car park closes at 6.30 and when theres and event on they hike up the price.
  9. You mean the guy who 2.5 years ago when still only an 8 point PL man went full time EL? There are a few things you can never accuse Barker of, one of them is having no ambition.
  10. Emil Sayfutdinov - Coventry Bees - Top of the EL averages. Frankly, I don't care what some foreigner does in the GPs, just what he does for the Bees.
  11. I broke my number 1 rules of speedway watching tonight. Never cheer when a rider falls. Twice I cheered. And once he as up shouted a load of abuse at Nicki via the tele. My justification for doing it to him is that whenever another rider falls off he waves his finger around like they wanted to throw the bike on the floor and risk injury. If he can be so unconcerned about others, I'm not going to worry about him. I'll Cardiff I'll be wagging my fingers at him in a similar way to what he does when a rider falls off.
  12. Just warn your neighbors. You will shout at the tele as long as your opinion of Nicki is a polarised as much as anyone elses is
  13. Nicki had 2 exclusions. so 3310X is better than 331XX
  14. The fact heat 17 has 4 riders he's fighting with for a semi place is good news. One, maybe 2 of them are liekly to ned up on 8 or less. Meaning Bomber has to beat Jensen and Sayfutdinov whos on the grave yard gate 3. That said, the rider behind could sneak past. It's close.
  15. First we have that twit Pedersen waving his finger after wiping someone out and then the prick in the box excluding the wrong rider. Jan Staechman talking bollocks!
  16. Thats my thoughts too. Been to Prague 3 times, absolutely amazing city and the speedway gets in the way of a good weekend. I say that as someone who loves his speedway and probably goes to more meetings than most in this country. Since they removed the staning area on the back straight that at one point cost £12 then went up to £18 (which was fine, it was a GP) but it's about £30 now to sit there. I've not been back as a result. Between the cost and the poor racing, it's just not worth it. Someone said Pardubice is about an hour from Prague on the train, so have it there, I seem to remember it's about 30-40 on a tram to get to the Marketa from the centre of Prague anyway, so an hour on the train is not much worse and you would hopefully get a better GP. C'mon GP organisers, either sort out the Marketa or get the GP elsewhere and I'll be back next year, I love Prague and don't need much of an excuse to return but it would be nice if I could tie it in with my passion for our wonderful (most of the time!) sport!
  17. I'll believe it when I see it, we were told they were going to do that about 3 years ago, no change.
  18. Thing that makes me laugh is a few weeks back Mike Lee was spunking himself over a few close home wins and saying how good they were, seemingly oblivious to the fact that it suggested they were going to struggle away from home.
  19. Good to see a lot more dirt on the track than at tonights Czech GP!
  20. 3 passes in 23 heats? How much longer do we have to put up with the crap that is the Marketta Stadium? It's been terrible now for years. Drop it please!
  21. As someone who has many times driven from Coventry to Newport (and vice versa) I can confirm if you put your foot down it's 90 minutes. More realistically you're looking at another 15 minutes on top of that and if you're my parents it's 2 hours. I'd certainly never bank on doing it in 90 minutes though!
  22. First meeting done in an hour, WOW! Fair play, they're not messing about at Sheffield tonight
  23. Why not Coventry? Holds 12,000 people, host many good GP's back in the day. Central too.
  24. Even worse that the meeting was not delayed then.
