Excel runtime can be downloaded form Microsoft. So if you trust Microsfot not to include anything dodgy... I've yet to hear/see/read of any problems. In fact, companies I have worked for have used run time versions of MS Access and Excel so it should be pretty safe.

The irony. Using Legault as a benchmark can I suggest that the following will be in the GP's in the next 10 years at some stage.... Stead, Howe, Kennett, Hall, Complin, Ashworth, Allen, Wright, Boxall, Woffinden, Auty, Mills. Honestly, I'd be surprised if 3 of them made it full time into the GP's but I'd also be amazed if Legault ever makes it to the GP's and if Chris Kerr ever achieved an EL average as high as James Wrights current average (5.5ish)

Congratulations Nicki. The best man by a long way this season and proved his quality by going on to win his next 2 heats (including the final) even after he was World Champion.

From what we've seen of him this year, we need him back, he would be a loss. Something I'd have not said last year as he was quite anonymous most of the time.

Because he finished 8th as Hans wild card results did not count in the standings. edit > Interestingly, this rule seems to have been removed this year. So Jarek would NOT have qualified, Hans would have done, meaning PK would have been in the GP's.

using the past precedents, IF Adams retired, Lubos gets his place as Lubos is now 1st reserve. Coming 9th in the GP series gives you no such status. Basically, Lubos replaces ANY rider who does not ride in a GP for what ever reason. One of the advantages of doing the qualifiers.

To be fair, so he should be. My reply to Tsunami was just part of a game me and Tsunami play I've actually supported Lubos in his rounds this year, he's far more exciting that some of the possible gating tart who could have made the GP's (and some that have!)
