The GP would be the top 15 riders in the World, so even of a rider does not finish in the top 8, he may still fit that criteria so DOES deserve a nomination.
-
Tsunami, he failed only the top 3 have achieved anything Plus I always said he was one for the future De Ja Vu
-
The Danes have just got one of the Brits places. Expect Lindgren, AJ, Kasprzak and Zagar as wildcards.
-
That's the end of Scott Nicholls is he doesn't finish in the top 8! Pressures on him now!
-
Wouldn't it be nice for once for everyone to agree that both are deserving of the wild card and whoever doesn't get it can feel slightly unlucky. Surely the one whos not wildcard will be 1st reserve?
-
There was passing though. It was just boring. Like Arena Essex.

I can't believe people are saying Hans. HE has no chance tonight on a track where you need to be fast. Hans lacks speed this year and tonight will be found out. On the other hand, Chris Harris has been very fast this year and I think he cloud do something tonight (plus the fact he's made the podium at the two other GP's Sandie and co have been too in 2007 )

But the GP's should be finding the best rider in the World, NOt the best rider in thr World who was not 9-15th the eyar ebfore!! Which would be what you'd have! Nicki Pedersen would not have been World Champion using your "rule"!!!

This is a one of track, if it rains it causes problems, something they have learnt from in the past. It's ok building a one off track if theres a roof as the rain won't effect it.

I don't think Kronner will qualify, he has said he's going to go there and have fun, leanr fomr it but he is not ready for the GPs so if he is on the verge of qualifying he may just have a weird last or EF and qualify as a reserve instead. On the other hand, he may get wrapped up in it all and go for it. I would actually love for one of the suprise packages to make it, one of them 3 would be great, young riders who could just from time to time spoilt it for the bigs boys in the GP's. Would also love to see Renat Gafurov qualify and as much as I dislike him, I thikn Fredie Lindgren would be a good addition to the series.

It's you! Just ebcause you're 9th in the GP's doesn't mean you're not good enough IF the top 15 riders in the World were in the 2007 GPs, why shoudl they not ride in the qualifier or are you suggesting that the riders who ARE 9th to 15th in the World should miss out while the riders 16th to 21st shoudl have their places?! Obviously, we can't prove who without doubt who the top 16 riders in the World are, even personally I'd say my choices change day by day and track by track!

A the same time, if the people who wanted to critisize him stopped posting....... Good point Proves that luck evens itself out though Can the Scott fan really not see Subedeis point? I'm don't completly agree with him on Scott but I do think he makes some valid points, on the other hand, I think some of what he says is poop but it's his opinion and I defend his right to have that opinion, good, bad or indifferent! At the same time, I'll defend the right of everyoine who is sticking up for Scott, even if some of there thinking on some of the arguments is a little warped.

You don't really think she knew them herself do you?!

2007 Grand Prix Competition

What about me?! -
I think anyone who doesn't like Scott Nicholls is French and anyone who doesn't think he's great is German and anyone who doesn't think he's great or like him are half French and half German.

Latvian Speedway Grand Prix 2007

Like one of Scott and Hans would? These little one-on-one rivalries are great! The fact it's currently bewteen the two bad guys whoe everyone loves to hate just makes it even better! -
Correct, forgot him
-
No. His league racing th erlast 6 weeks has seen him stop doing his felt defeating riding and over riding, then last night I commented to my dad he had got over it in the GP's, thne eh started to do silly things in the semi and then in the final was old Scott Nicholls who was over trying. I'm with Shazzy, I don't think he'll ever win a GP but that doesn't mean he should not be in the GP's! There's probably 12 or 13 riders in the GP sries at the moent who will never be World Champion, we don't clim they should not be in the series. More or less, thats right. We've had a World Champion in every decade. 50's - Freddie Williams 60's - PC 70's - t'other PC 80's - Michael Lee 90's - Havvy 00' - Loram 10's - ?!?! Harris, Bridger, Auty, Woffinden, Me?

Yes!

Erm. I can introduce you to a few Coventry fans who don't think the sun shines from Scott's back side! Not all of Scotts fans are Coventry fans and not all Coventry fans are Scott fans. Who are the "mob"? Because if it's who I think it is (maybe I have a high opinion of myself and my group of friends at Brandon), I can assure you, Scott is not all that highly thought of amongst us, we support him but we certainly don't all love him. C'mon Sub, you know yourself I'm not Scotts biggest fan but even I have to admit he rode well tonight, he was the 4th best rider in the World today and surely meeting like that prove he is worthy of being in the GP series. I don't agree that this thread should be free of criticism of Scott, I'm sure he'd want the praise when he does well, so he should have the criticism when he is poor. As it is, lately he's been riding well is a a joy to watch and I'll admit that, however earlier in the season he was riding badly and was just infuriating to watch.
-
Also, in heat 2 Millard commented all but Jagus had made a GP final this season. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm sure I remember Jagus coming 3rd in the first GP!!!
-
I said to my dad pre-meeting when I heard Johno was commentating, he'll tell us at some point Johno could be in the GP's next season. In the Millard Bingo stakes, that has to be worth double points?!

I believe that Latvia is 2 hours ahead of us, so the GP will start an hour earlier than normal.
