  1. Totally agree. What I also don't get is that BWD appears to have slept with Adam's wife yet he is the one having a go at Adam.
  2. I'm sure the Glasgow promotion would sell you a book of ten.
  3. That's a pity we were all looking forward to meeting you at Glasgow.
  4. Strange one this. I remember the good old days when tigers fans would have a go at Blobby but 5 days after his post and no ones bothered. It's as if people think his views are insignificant, shame that.
  5. I think it's fair to say that most Glasgow fans don't think we'll win the league. However we do think we are in for a fantastic season of exciting speedway. Last year we wondered whether Ulle, Ricky and Justin would do the business or would they play safe and settle for the position they were in after the 2nd bend. Ulle was unbelievable and refused to believe he was beaten. Ricky and Justin were predictable. Sam Jensen was spectacular when the track was grippy and I hope he is not lost to speedway in the UK. However their replacements Tom, Benjamin and Danyon are committed exciting young riders who will more than replace the outgoing trio. Add in the quality of our track staff and a brilliant track, which has been praised by many other riders and officials, and you can see why Glasgow fans are looking forward to a season of brilliant racing 'out of the top drawer'.
  6. A few well respected pundits north of the border plus some Edinburgh fans would have liked to see Drew stay with the Monarchs, so you may be surprised.
  7. I assume you mean he left so that he would have more meetings and therefore the potential to earn more money. I would have thought that a smooth wide track where you can race hard for 4 laps would have also been part of his thinking. But yes totally agree with your sentiments re-some Poole fans.
  8. I see my answer confused Diamonds85 so I'll make it even simpler No it doesn't round up to 4.89 and yes you are way off.
  9. He's basically replacing Marcin who was really hairy around Ashfield. So no change there. However he proved that he could get around Armadale which Marcin didn't so another bonus for us.
  10. Not if some riders get a 2.5% discount, not if you missed a season or two, not if you are riding in a different division from last year, not if the Eastbourne fixtures get removed, not if you were a rising star, not if you are on an assessed average being a rider who has never ridden in the UK or are returning from a serious injury.
  11. Surely the starting averages for team building purposes in 2022 is what is required rather than 2021 end of season averages. An explanation on how they were calculated would also be helpful e.g averages, minus bonus points, based on the whole of the 2021 season, minus Eastbourne matches. Or based on the last 20 meetings no matter which year. Or a conversion rate from championship to premiership. Or assessed, etc
  12. Excellent piece of analysis. Can't disagree with one word of it
  13. From what has been said about the 'culprits' on here previously, it would be burnt-out and possibly with the security people still inside
  14. Exactly and that is what they did in 2021. They got rid of Keleher and as Mr Shovlar has said spent big to get in Basso. As I've said in another post the Ford's reaction is purely to get a story in the local press and to get the pirates sheep, sorry fans, to support them, and get angry with Glasgow rather than with them. They must be lining up another purchase of a chateau
  15. Interesting that Poole claim they would race on different nights to accommodate Ben yet they left the Premier League because they said that only Wednesday night would work for them financially. So basically they've adopted an approach used by politicians for some time, 'deflect the blame onto someone else whilst also getting your name in the papers' . And well done to Blobby for getting them even more publicity.
  16. He also scored well for Poole at Edinburgh so he is clearly a good guy as well as being a good young rider.
  17. You don't do irony do you? Look at the dates
  18. They tried to upload it on 18 June 2021 but for some reason it didn't work.
  19. Such loyalty to the whiter than white gaffer. You'll be driving him around the country next
  20. Tosh1218 What an appropriate name and yes we've all spotted your typo at the end.
  21. I'm really pleased had convinced myself he would have moved to a track closer to home. He comes across as a decent lad as well as being a brilliant prospect. His decision to stay with us also shows loyalty to the Glasgow fans and owners. Did I say I was really pleased
  22. I don't know what you've done but nothing from the pilates fan since your last post
