  1. Blobby, Why bother guessing when you don't know. Just makes you look stupid but then again....
  2. With large crowds reported from some tracks down south, just wondered if anyone has any idea of last nights attendance
  3. Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse. That's me done with speedway.
  4. Perhaps we could invite some Poole riders to guest for both teams and that would give Poole fans a chance to enjoy good speedway and support their riders or perish the thought have a good moan
  5. Thanks for the heads up. I've cancelled the train and hotel. Lost some money but it could have been worse. Cheers.
  6. They said on BSN the referee would allow one more heat to see how things went. Paul Starke fell and that was that, the ref abandoned it; simple.
  7. See posts above quoting John Campbell that there are no options for Edinburgh to compete next year.
  8. Surprised to find this thread in the Premiership section, particularly as there is another one, 34 pages long, in the 'Individual' section. A bit ironic that only one of the top three actually race in the Premiership
  9. Congratulations to Dan Bewley and well done to Tom Brennan and Craig Cook. Impressed by Cookie seeing it was his first competitive meeting since 21 August when he was injured at Redcar after ending up in the fence after a mistake from Charles Wright.
  10. With Leicester haven chosen to meet Edinburgh, Glasgow have announced that their leg of the Play-offs semi-final, against Poole or Plymouth, will be held at Ashfield on Sunday 25 September 2022 at 6pm. I wonder if any Poole fans will comment?
  11. Glasgow speedway also has a vehicle for taking back bikes to the pits.
  12. Last night he was on 10 points from 4 rides having won off gates 4, 1, and 2. In his 5th ride he was off gate 2 again. Fricke and Jack Holder had also won from gate 2 during the meeting. So last night, at least, it wasn't a case of catching up, he was sitting in joint 2nd place with one race to go - heat 19. Heat 19 contained four of the best riders on the night and he couldn't do it.
  13. Tickets for the stand have already sold out. Tickets for terracing still available.
  14. Jan Kvech rode at Glasgow in 2018 in the World U21 Team Championship qualifier and looked impressive scoring 15 points for the Czech Republic from 6 rides including a 6 pointer double in one race. From the UK side that won the meeting, only Connor Mountain is still riding in the UK.
