With Leicester haven chosen to meet Edinburgh, Glasgow have announced that their leg of the Play-offs semi-final, against Poole or Plymouth, will be held at Ashfield on Sunday 25 September 2022 at 6pm. I wonder if any Poole fans will comment?

Glasgow speedway also has a vehicle for taking back bikes to the pits.

What's funny about a rider being injured, you total

Last night he was on 10 points from 4 rides having won off gates 4, 1, and 2. In his 5th ride he was off gate 2 again. Fricke and Jack Holder had also won from gate 2 during the meeting. So last night, at least, it wasn't a case of catching up, he was sitting in joint 2nd place with one race to go - heat 19. Heat 19 contained four of the best riders on the night and he couldn't do it.

Jan Kvech rode at Glasgow in 2018 in the World U21 Team Championship qualifier and looked impressive scoring 15 points for the Czech Republic from 6 rides including a 6 pointer double in one race. From the UK side that won the meeting, only Connor Mountain is still riding in the UK.
