Yep I seem to remember quite a number of people saying moving to a Saturday night would be bad for families and all the kids that came on Sundays would be lost from the sport. As paulco says there was millions of them on Saturday night. Just a pity we've had a disjointed fixture list so far. Hopefully everyone will be back even though we lost 😠

This season is starting to remind me of the season chelsea had 2 years ago, both managers scratching there heads and team members inconsistent 🤔

Pointless pressing the panic button, the team can't be changed even if we wanted to. Just watched the Tigers broadcast on Facebook and seems Aaron's tuner was over from Poland so the boy is trying to sort out his lack of power. The play offs are all that matter now although it would be nice to go unbeaten at home. It might not go down well with some fans but we need the remaining 6 to stay healthy and not take risks - Ipswich fans said the same when they lost Cam Heeps through trying to hard. We also need them to get there best engines booked in early with there tuners and who knows what they will achieve. So in free fall or playing it safe. Hope it is the latter 🙆

Jack Holder And The (lack Of A) 9 Month Ban
SharpenRake replied to SCB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A sensible post plus as others have said it's a development league. Would those complaining prefer the 2 lads collapsed due to exhaustion. And since this is a jack holder thread to use Peterborough fans excuses they weren't missed from a result point of view -
I think relegation play off is meant to be on the tele looking forward to Nigel and kelvin's explanation of who is riding for who and why

I hope all the youngsters do well enough to make a career out of speedway. But would be more than happy if they didn't become world class and so stayed racing in the UK. Can't understand some fans obsession with riders having to ride in Poland to become better and then complaining about missing riders and guests

Newcastle Vs Glasgow (sgbc) 20/08/2017
SharpenRake replied to ellioth4's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Easy for the diamonds. Lawson knackered through to many meetings , summers lacking match fitness to few meetings, Worrall carrying an injury from Poland, lunna crashed out and Redcar and even if fit his bike might not be, Bewley seems to be riding as much as Lawson so would imagine his equipment is taking a bashing, perry riding for 2 teams and holding down a full time job explains his engine problems and lack of form and Smith crashed last Sunday and failed to score Thursday. So if travelling down enjoy the day but don't come on here and say it was a disgrace when they lose 😿 -

Sheffield Tigers V Edinburgh Monarchs.
SharpenRake replied to graz gp's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Assume the monarchs don't want to get into the play-offs for some reason -
The speedway star article which is brilliant by the way explodes that myth
