  1. Scrub most of the above. The Tuesday gives more time for our injured riders to recover and should be easier to get guests as no other matches that evening. Still a shame that the kids won't see us in the play offs
  2. And why are Glasgow racing on a Tuesday night!!!!!! Bound to be a huge money spinner - the kids that have watched us all year and no doubt there parents will now miss out. OK I don't expect us to win on the night or qualify for the final but it would have ben nice to race in front of bumper crowd! Just cos we own our stadium we get treated like mugs. Saturday would have been the obvious date but seems we are committed to a thrilling match at Workington which if you look at the Workington threads there is likely to be no one there. Glasgow fans wont be travelling having forked out for 3 matches in less than a week and with the riders championship and the play-offs still to pay for. We've been shafted in the ko cup with blank dates waiting months to see who our opponents will be and we still don't have any fixed dates. We'll now lose to Newcastle whereas earlier in the season when at full strength we should have won. Its just a total bells up
  3. Can I ask if James is deliberately not scoring so he can reduce his average how is he managing to live. Is he on £200 a point or a fixed wage or something else. Have to say I felt sorry for him when I saw him on TV riding for Coventry and he kept getting pulled back for good starts. It's probably the only time I agreed with Havvy. Obviously can't comment on whats happened at Workington. I assume fans agree with the refs decisions and he is now blatantly jumping or is it a case of refs delaying the tapes so they catch him or he makes good starts that get called back
  4. Presumably after Glasgow gets knocked out of the play offs
  5. By the time the KO Cup is run Bewley Smith and probably lunna will be back which could make things a bit more interesting
  6. All today proves is that you were able to beat a patched up team.
  7. Have to agree with you and actually think you are being kind. No atmosphere and nothing to get excited about. Had forgotten how bad Sunday meetings could be
  8. Richie feels he is under pressure to let his hair grow like Richard aaron and Nike. He thinks Richard is the ring leader and this led to a disagreement and neither of them will back down. I know you couldn't make it up
  9. Apparently Sheffield want to ride at home in the second leg this week. For that reason alone they will pick Glasgow as we are easy to deal with and will be more likely to agree to ride on an off night than Edinburgh or Ipswich. If this happens Glasgow fans will be forking out for 4 home meetings in a week. So unlikely to get a bumper crowd and no time to promote to the wider public. Never mind the play offs are money spinners so what do I know 🙁
  10. Correct, miss piggys favourite frog 🐸 allegedly a Glasgow fan can't even get the title of the thread right Could maybe use his grass track bike to get there
  11. Are you trying to hi Jack this Edinburgh thread. Love your logic, select a team based on 4 away fixtures . Over a season who is the no1 in the Green Sheets from 18th September - Richard Lawson 8.59, followed by Richie 8.51 and Aaron 8.28. Away and grow up, you'd think you were still at school with your comments - in fact away and play with Jeremy Corbyn Fan
  12. What's the point of this thread other than another wind up by a 'frog', perhaps Dimitri.Early in the season some fans thought we were brilliant, great idea to have 3 big hitters. Now they say that was a stupid idea. Fans are fickle. before worrying about away matches you have to win your home ones Richard Lawson is the best home rider bar none. Do I think he'll be back, sadly not. But we still have the league and ko cup, remember that, to potentially win. We have all winter to worry about next years team. Who knows the facennas might retire and move to the Caribbean and there wont be a club so enjoy what you have and worry about next year at the end of the season. But then that wouldn't suit your agenda kermy baby You can but hope
  13. Following on from the excellent performance of our guests last night can our guests do it for us tonight. We really need Simon lambert to perform and if so we have a chance. Barker has shown he really wants to stuff us this year both on and off the track and as for garrity, who knows how he'll perform. Despite the end of season problems we deserve to be in the play offs so here's hoping 🙆
  14. All these injuries emphasise the stupidity of the play offs. I know it is difficult but imagine if Glasgow qualify for the play-offs and win with 3 guests and r/r. And with both dan and jack riding for the aces and Colts they're title challenge will also be compromised
  15. Tigers doing a great job of luring the opposition into a false sense of security for the play-offs. But then again we have still to qualify 🙁
  16. We really need to get the meeting on and win. Redcar are only 4 points behind us. If they beat us on Saturday and Newcastle on Sunday by more than 6 points we won't be in the play offs!
  17. Enjoyed last night with some good racing and a sunny evening to liften Tigers fans spirits. For us aaron looked better and kyle newman a good guest. Worryingly it looked as if he was also trying out different lines just to test things for next Wednesday and forthcoming play offs. For scunthorpe Kerr and Douglas gave it a go and mpt recovered from a poor first ride. Crowd looked good, lots of kids running in the kids race but still not convinced the intensive grading at heat 10 is required
  18. I've said it before Jeremy Corbyn Fan has adopted us. Just ignore his posts and hopefully he will hop off
  19. If I held the copyright to the Muppets show I would sue you for using there most charismatic character as your name and bringing there franchise into disrepute
  20. This could prove to be a tricky match for the Tigers. We need jack and liam carr to dominate the scunthorpe reserves. We also need no engine failures or tape exclusions and hopefully Tigers win.
