  1. Pointless pressing the panic button, the team can't be changed even if we wanted to. Just watched the Tigers broadcast on Facebook and seems Aaron's tuner was over from Poland so the boy is trying to sort out his lack of power. The play offs are all that matter now although it would be nice to go unbeaten at home. It might not go down well with some fans but we need the remaining 6 to stay healthy and not take risks - Ipswich fans said the same when they lost Cam Heeps through trying to hard. We also need them to get there best engines booked in early with there tuners and who knows what they will achieve. So in free fall or playing it safe. Hope it is the latter 🙆
  2. With a few rumours about next year it'll do mason no harm to show other teams he's worth a contract. Hopefully starting tonight
  3. Agree you will win on aggregate over the 2 matches this Thursday and Saturday
  4. Let's be clear Glasgow will not finish top of the league, Sheffield will. Play offs all to play for
  5. Aaron clearly upset by your comments and only scored 3. But in the first match he scored 10 from 4 for the diamonds. Funny old game, speedway
  6. At least we know the Scotsman is on the wind up. Surprised you haven't included Cookie in your list and the fact we are going to change our race day to a Monday afternoon
  7. As paulco says aaron looked slow. Can't help thinking he's suffering from lack of meetings. Fewer meetings less earnings and it becomes a vicious circle. Hopefully with more meetings over the next few weeks he can get his engines sorted as we reach the crucial part of the season
  8. I believe there is a 2nd installment in tomorrow's speedway star. The mind boggles. Maybe Neil macfarlane will be interviewed
  9. A sensible post plus as others have said it's a development league. Would those complaining prefer the 2 lads collapsed due to exhaustion. And since this is a jack holder thread to use Peterborough fans excuses they weren't missed from a result point of view
  10. I think relegation play off is meant to be on the tele looking forward to Nigel and kelvin's explanation of who is riding for who and why
  11. Ordinary British riders are likely to only race in the UK. Ordinary Swedish and Danish riders will also ride in there own country and therefore be more likely to miss some UK fixtures. Not really bothered who wins grand prix or World Cup.
  12. As I've said in another post sadly individual riders 'making it' does not benefit UK team speedway
  13. I hope all the youngsters do well enough to make a career out of speedway. But would be more than happy if they didn't become world class and so stayed racing in the UK. Can't understand some fans obsession with riders having to ride in Poland to become better and then complaining about missing riders and guests
  14. Easy for the diamonds. Lawson knackered through to many meetings , summers lacking match fitness to few meetings, Worrall carrying an injury from Poland, lunna crashed out and Redcar and even if fit his bike might not be, Bewley seems to be riding as much as Lawson so would imagine his equipment is taking a bashing, perry riding for 2 teams and holding down a full time job explains his engine problems and lack of form and Smith crashed last Sunday and failed to score Thursday. So if travelling down enjoy the day but don't come on here and say it was a disgrace when they lose 😿
  15. Glasgow 19 August - can't see anything else on the BSF but were hosting a round tonight. Good luck to all riders and hope the fans turn out Was good last year and interesting to see how some have progressed Link here https://www.glasgowtigers.co/young-guns-fire-glasgow/
  16. Yep he's had an absolute shocker of a season BSPA have actually done something useful. heres a link to official averages; just shows how badly the team and in particular the heat leaders have done this year http://www.speedwaygb.co/glasgow17
  17. Assume the monarchs don't want to get into the play-offs for some reason
  18. The speedway star article which is brilliant by the way explodes that myth
  19. [quote name="MD" post="3014864" timestamp="1503076832 A bigger issue will be when all the play offs come at the same time with Bewley and Smith involved in three leagues and Lawson possibly as well with Somerset. Thankfully after last night's result don't think Somerset will be in the play offs
  20. I can't work out how to multi quote but to sum up the last few posts Lawson and summers are unpredictable away from home probably due to doubling up and another poster agrees. Summers does not double up! Now feel free to have a go but base it on facts. Can't believe I am the only one that is questioning Stuarts tactics last night it's not as if it's the first time. Also when we lose he's always quick to put pressure on and blame the riders on the clubs website. Not sure if that is the best tactic especially when the team is actually doing better than most people at the start of the season thought. But it is frustrating that they seem to have hit some sort of barrier when earlier they were all nice and relaxed and scoring freely, apart from Jack who ironically is a bit better when everyone else is of the boil.
  21. Unbelievable well thought out albeit inaccurate post. Particularly like the bit where you say you are sleeping well tonight posted at 5.10am 😴😵
