  1. Has he ever even rode at number 1 for more than a month or two?
  2. To clarify, my comment was not in any way a dig at Glasgow, you pay well, but I wasn’t referring to that. I was simply saying that Chris Harris WILL be on a guarantee, just like virtually every other big rider in the Championship has been for the last few seasons. The ‘cap’ on it will be for payments from the club only. Bomber had a sponsor at Berwick this season who paid him a guarantee, in agreement with the club. This will be no different this year, you can’t stop a rider from getting sponsorship money after all. You can stop a club from paying a rider too much, but you can’t stop a rider from being paid too much.
  3. Jonas Knudsen could be a good shout you know. As has been said previously, is good friends with Leon, and will be teammates with Schlein this season at Berwick as well as Leon. Was averaging over 6 as a newcomer in Championship, looked great at Oxford, Redcar and is a good prospect.
  4. Ok then, well Riss King C Wright Ruml Mikkel B Andersen Edwards 2 pointer
  5. I was looking for a season ticket to Bandits only too, but I doubt it’s going to be double header with so few fixtures in the calendar, bar possibly when Leicester and Oxford come. They’ve got Bullets prices, and didn’t advertise double header prices. The rise in admission is a joke and I will now be thinking twice each Saturday before going, which I’ve never done before. Normally you’re deciding between something on the TV, or who the opposition are, now I’ll be bringing personal finances into it too as £3 more, to watch a worse team, is excessive. Adding to that, Bullets were £10 this season on the gate, and are now £14! £4 extra for NL is ridiculous. Concession’s prices, whilst don’t affect me, worry me, as there will be plenty who can’t justify that price hike. And for people saying just book online, you used to get £1 booking fee last season, see no reason why it won’t still be £1. So you’re only saving £1 not £2 by booking online.
  6. Ok then, well Riss King C Wright J Wright Newman Edwards 2 pointer
  7. Riss announced he wasn’t doing Championship in 2023 did he not?
  8. Rew rode for Krosno this season past, and rode in I believe DK or Swe? If you have ‘professional league experience’ you are an assessed 5, if not, you are a 4. Pearson started his ‘professional career’ at Birmingham.
  9. This league will always be the premier league to a lot of fans.
  10. Rew is a 5, can’t see who they’d take on a 3 though?
  11. Punched, it was an u21 world/european event i’m sure
  12. Yeah, think the story went that Rowe hit him whilst on GB duty and Rowe got banned from representing the country, Kemp always seen as the golden boy by Vatcher
  13. Bomber was on a guarantee at Berwick this season tbf, still done the business week in week out I have to say
  14. Lawson to Glasgow, Harris to Poole, keeps everyone happy… Apart from Berwick
  15. Two weak reserves and a weak number one, with a retired rider at 5?
  16. This was my thinking too, one of Harris or Theo can’t be happening, if Claus, Nowak and Brennan are in.
  17. Yes. Aren’t we all? Jorgensen is not a number 1 and is on a completely false average. Schlein hates Berwick and moans about everything unless it’s 30 degrees, no matter how good he may be with the ‘younger’ riders (why didn’t we sign young 2 point reserves if he’s so good rather than the ones we did). He’ll do a fine job on track for us though I think. Jye is one of the most injury prone riders we’ve had (once he unfortunately but inevitably gets injured, Jonas will most probably be above him and so we will have to use R/R with Jonas, Coles and Stoneman) And that settles in nicely to signing two 2.00’s who have never looked like being more than just that? One/either of them would of been absolutely fine.
