To me Kildemand ‘took’ to being a Bandit a lot more than Jeppesen, I think JJ was merely interested in bulking out his fixtures, which may be the case again next year, but Kildemand seemed a lot more involved. Jeppesen was sensational for us though, but I could easily see him not coming back to UK.

Why do you think? Because clubs are for sale, clubs are closing for housing, crowds are down, riders haven’t been paid, the TV deal has gone, whilst promotors want to continue with the same structure, that quite clearly isn’t working and isn’t sustainable and that’s just the Premiership.

I said it last year that I wouldn’t have Borke back, and for the same reasoning, I wouldn’t have Hume back. Unneeded risk out of loyalty, especially if we retain Hagon, can’t have our number 2 and 6 coming back from injuries.

Decent meeting that, hope Sam’s doing alright, was a nasty one. Was a cold night waiting around, we’ve got ourselves a good team a few weeks too late, but nothing could have been done to get Morris in any quicker, if only the Cumbrian didn’t let us down we’d of been a match for anybody with Jeppesen. I’d expect Smith, Kemp, Kildemand back next year, with possibly Hume and Hagon if fit. Would love Jeppesen and Morris, but I’m sure they’ll have plenty offers.
