  1. Pedantic, but I’d expect nothing less from the Diamond doylum. The away target audience is Redcar, Scunthorpe, Berwick, Edinburgh and Glasgow as a Workington promoter. Oxford, Poole and Plymouth fans will come in their tens, and possibly a good few if they have a Friday meeting at Ashfield or Armadale and come up North for the weekend. I never thought I’d have to explain that but here we are.
  2. Surely Poole can afford a second ambulance/paramedic like the majority of clubs in the Championship
  3. It’s a tough one, 3pm works well for away fans, as it’s a one off for them and they wont be home too late, but people do tend to do things with family etc on a Saturday afternoon.
  4. But he’s not? And that was quite clear for all to see. I could say I’m fit to ride, for everyone’s sake I’d hope Dickson wouldn’t put me at 3 though.
  5. No one wants to watch that crap every week. They’ve had 3 good crowds due to away fans, but it’ll be interesting to see it against Poole. Only entertainment was Charles Wright v the football pitch.
  6. Did you see either of Bastian’s meetings, or see him walking about the town, or at the gym, or in the pits? The lad has one working leg for god sake, he should still be on crutches.
  7. Edinburgh have some good riders, who don’t seem to click at the same time, if Palovaara wasn’t on a false average they would have been slaughtered last night. Good team management skills switching his heats around though, and getting the tractors out constantly at the end to give him time to sort the bike.
  8. Good performance from Kildemand, Kemp, Hume and Wood. Hagon cost us again, I feel for him, done well in heat 12, hopefully he can get some points tomorrow and Sunday.
  9. Vinnie Foord taken no time to get back to it I see, fair play.
  10. Maybe if Steve Park put his time into saving / reviving the Diamonds rather than moaning about Berwick it would be a different story.
  11. To be fair to him he can’t be expected to think Palovaara and Grahn were going to be called up for a pairs meeting internationally.
  12. I don’t disagree with the Flint comment, but at the same time, that’s his ‘home’ track, he is far far better than that usually around there, if there’s anywhere he doesn’t have an off night, it’s Shielfield. As for Kemp’s attitude problem, he was with us all last season, was by far our stand out rider, and always gave 100% and spoke well in interviews etc, he may of had an attitude problem previously to joining Berwick, but I completely disagree with him still having one now.
  13. Kemp knows his way around Shielfield, pleased to see he’s carried on from the latter half of last season. Borke shouldn’t be on a bike, although did look better in his last. Bomber and Leon had an off night and they still won, that’s a worry.
  14. Forecast looks awful? What’s the chances of a meeting?
  15. The forecast is set to be a lovely day, but strong gusts are predicted for practice
  16. Why didn’t you ask the lady in the club shop? Pot calling kettle black there surely. I’m only having a laugh.
  17. It would be a strange thing for her to lie about. Answered your own question surely.
  18. Oh yes, because there was never any replacements in those meetings.
  19. Anyone mentioning Sedgy’s performance yesterday? He was worse than Craig Cook.
  20. Didn’t really notice the length of time, suppose if you pick where the sun is and where you’re sheltered from wind, it helps.
