  1. Wasn’t committed at Berwick, put no money into machinery for a start, and didn’t want to be there by the end. This is what happens when the Polish clubs can offer 5x as much, the riders, dont care about British Speedway, rightly or wrongly.
  2. Yep as long as he’s comitted he’ll be a good signing
  3. Correct me if I’m wrong but Drew Kemp won’t be getting any rides for Lodz surely with their line up? Maybe at number 8 at best?
  4. Far too hot for the bikes They race on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays depending on the TV picks.
  5. No they’re not. Majority of riders averages will increase this season, unless they have a stinker, due to a starting team average of 38. It’s simple maths. I don’t agree that Pearson will be 6+, but 6+ at the end of the season does not mean he’s a heatleader.
  6. Ironic saying the phrase man up when talking about women’s inclusion in sport
  7. He thinks he’s too good for the championship. Another lad deluded by the Polish money.
  8. Workington’s track backs on to the beach…
  9. I think Fredriksen/Thomson/Castagna are competitive in this watered down league. Hume/Etheridge/Kemp, Thomsen/Brennan/Z Cook, Pearson/Flint/Starke, Edwards/TJ/Bailey, Atkins/Jenkins/Heeps, Bowtell/Newman/D Thompson are the current comparatives.
  10. He’s been away for a while now, would have been start of summer I think.
  11. He’s moved to Australia, I doubt it, although Senna’s just starting out and he might want to come and be involved
  12. Powers that be haven’t done anything, it’s a rolling average. That just shows how poor he was last season in comparison to his actual average.
  13. What’s that got to do with the price of cheese? The green sheet averages from the team declarations are what counts.
  14. Oh how we’ve all missed the intelligent Comets fans in the Championship. Doesn’t understand how rolling averages work clearly. Never watched a meeting since Worky left the league and presumes nothing has changed. Craig Cooks a top rider, no one’s disputing that. Just simply saying he isn’t the best rider in the league and hasn’t been for years, and that’s a FACT. You are being incredibly naive if you think Cook who hasn’t been able to hold down a second string spot in the Premiership is better than Sam Masters, who’s ridden at number 1 for Wolves for multiple years. Douglas miles clear of him last year also.
  15. 2019 Cook 10.71 Masters 10.86 2021 Cook 9.46 Masters 9.86 2022 Cook 8.98 Masters 10.15 2023 Cook 9.08 Masters funnily enough higher than him AGAIN. Source - https://wwosbackup.proboards.com/ Of course I know what I’m talking about. I wouldn’t state something I hadn’t checked upon beforehand.
  16. Last time Cook had a higher average than Masters was 2018, stop living in the past. He’s a good rider and a good number 1 when his heads in it, but as we’ve all witnessed, that’s not always the case.
  17. Better tracks in top league? I disagree. Bar Belle Vue, Championship has much better tracks and racing, even excluding Glasgow. Give me Workington, Redcar and Scunthorpe over any other top league track to Belle Vue. Oxford a good track, but in both leagues.
