  1. At the moment TJ 5.78, Basso 5.91... Lawson 6.27, MPT 6,87 I'd take Basso and Lawson, and Picko as a start.
  2. That would help with tyre wear. But what is causing the tyres to fall to bits is a carcass issue.
  3. Thats about it. The tyre wear is due to this, the rubber compound is very soft and thats what causes the tyre/tread to wear more than other tracks, But the carcass of the tyre isn't up to it either. It's not reinforced enough, which is causing the tyre to fall to bits imho
  4. I said on the Panthers thread back a month or so when we had tyregate. The carcass construction seems to be the problem. Yes the Showground is hard on tyres, but it is possible in 2022 to make a tyre that don't fall to bits. If the carcass was strong enough the tyre wouldn't rip. The tread is just the soft compound, and could be replaced by a harder compound rubber, which would help with wear. But the problem lies in the construction of the carcass. Needs to be reinforced with steel banding to hold it together. I've seen drift car tyres last well over an hour drifting on concrete. If you cut through a speedway tyre, i bet it don't look like this. Yes it will be a bit heavier, but it will be safer. Thats my opinion on the issue.
  5. Behave .... I see where your coming from when you say you wouldn't mind a fresh 1-7 if it came to it.
  6. I wouldn't touch Harris, he's on 8.49. Second behind JD in the aves . Tofty 6.87, i'd rather Lawson 6.27. I'd take Basso
  7. Jason Edwards out, Jack Smith guests. TEAM UPDATE: SMITH STANDS IN - King's Lynn Speedway - The Home of the Stars (kingslynn-speedway.com)
  8. I didn't think much of what he said when asked about the Queen either.
  9. There might be a few who have supported Swindon for decades, and think it might happen. Others might still have hope it might happen. Some will hope until it's over. And then theres you.
  10. Will be interesting to see the 2023 thread when it appears. And what averages they are on
  11. I spoke to someone who knows him, and they told me he don't even like to talk speedway. Don't seem interested.
  12. Couldn't go, had a family meal pre booked. What happened to Josh and Worrall
  13. Don't really make sense. Basso cant be on more than £100 a point. Loose the meeting for £300 max
  14. Don't make sense. Another great 3 man team for the Panthers
  15. I took it as maybe to allow for an appeal or something.. So are you saying Ben has a been banned for 6 months ?
