  1. Why didn't USA select Ricky Wells instead of Gino Manzares. They might then have even qualified.
  2. If, as it has since been discovered, that Craig Cook did not have a sick note to miss this match, and as such is deemed to have been withholding his services and is banned for 7 days from the morning match, should BV have been allowed to use RR for him in the following fixture?
  3. King's 4 matches would have been good enough to place him at number 1 but as you state 4 matches is not enough to be included. Regarding Bewley you are correct in that I should have include him with ranking points of 900. I will amend my list.
  4. On current form my top 20 riders are as follows:- 01 Ricky Wells Edinburgh 1080 02 Ty Proctor Workington 1065 03 Rory Schlein Ipswich 1060 04 Adam Ellis Lakeside 1050 05 Nick Morris Lakeside 1030 06 Richard Lawson Lakeside 1020 07 Charles Wright Sheffield 1010 08 Eric Riss Edinburgh 1000 09 Kyle Howarth Sheffield 995 10 Josh Auty Scunthorpe 990 11 Claus Vissing Glasgow 970 12 Scott Nicholls Peterborough 960 13 Jason Garrity Scunthorpe 955 14 Kevin Doolan Berwick 930 15 Lewis Kerr Glasgow 920 16 Richie Worrall Glasgow 910 17 Dan Bewley Workington 900 18 Stefan Nielsen Scunthorpe 860 19 Jake Allen Scunthorpe 855 20 Ulrich Ostergaard Peterborough 850
  5. My top 20 riders on current form are as follows:- 01 Ben Morley Isle Of Wight 1160 02 Connor Mountain Coventry 1110 03 Danyon Hume Birmingham 1070 04 Josh Bailey Mildenhall 1060 05 Luke Bowen Kent 1055 06 Drew Kemp Mildenhall 1050 07 Tom Bacon Birmingham 1045 08 Max Clegg Stoke 1030 09 Adam Roynon Plymouth 1025 10 Leon Flint Birmingham 1020 11 Tom Brennan Eastbourne 1010 12 Danny Ayres Mildenhall 1005 13 Ben Wilson Buxton 1000 14 Kyle Bickley Belle Vue 990 15 Tony Atkin Stoke 950 16 Jack Smith Belle Vue 930 17 Natham Stoneham Kent 925 18 Tom Perry Belle Vue 920 19 Joe Lawler Belle Vue 900 20 Georgie Wood Eastbourne 890
  6. Here is my first list for 2018 of the riders that I think have started the season best. As at 31.05.18 my best 20 performing riders on current form are as follows. 01 Robert Lambert King's Lynn 1120 02 Troy Batchelor Swindon 1100 03 Max Fricke Belle Vue 1040 04 Jason Doyle Somerset 1030 05 Rory Schlein Wolverhampton 1010 06 Dan Bewley Belle Vue 1000 07 Hans Andersen Leicester 960 08 Scott Nicholls Rye House 920 09 Jacob Thorsell Wolverhampton 910 10 Kenneth Bjerre Leicester 900 11 Krzysztof Kasprazak Rye House 895 12 TY Proctor King's Lynn 890 13 Rohan Tungate Belle Vue 880 14 Nick Morris Swindon 870 15 Jack Holder Somerset 850 16 Sam Masters Wolverhampton 830 17 Craig Cook Belle Vue 825 18 Tobias Musielak Swindon 820 19 Neils Kristian Iversen King's Lynn 815 20 Brady Kurtz Poole 810
  7. Hope so but I think you are being a bit to optimistic. Would not RR be a better bet for King?
  8. If a guest rider is allowed it must be someone from the BCL because all 8 BPL teams are in action on Monday.
  9. I would like to thank Charles Wright for his efforts last night. When he was on the track the races were entertaining otherwise the races were often too strung out and only the closeness of the score throughout kept me interested.
  10. Are the Greyhounds still operating Abbey Stadium?
  11. Seen on BSI site that Chris Holder has now ridden in Poland and that he is to be reinstated into Poole's team. If this is correct then Peter Kildemand might become available.
  12. Seen on Social Media that the meeting was concluded in 75 minutes. Whilst congratulating all those involved I feel that finishing at 8-45 at senior level is a bit too early for my liking.
  13. It also confirms what I've always thought that Danny King must not be given a ride in heat 15 especially when the result is at stake.
  14. Exactly. It's easy to select the correct line when riding solo but not so when there are 3 others trying to do the same. Thought Neil Machin's response to a question concerning the new starting gate procedures was interesting. He said that something had to be done and if things did not improve he would like to see a line drawn on the track to prevent riders moving forward until the race was due to start.
  15. With Coventry's P & P day being postponed due to unsuitable track conditions this Saturday is Leicester's scheduled for the next day also at risk?
  16. Sorry forget the above. Just remembered it's Jack Thomas not Connor Mountain. Sorry and all that. Still Ipswich then to beat.
  17. Now that Glasgow have changed Parkinson-Blackburn for Mountain I now make them likely to finish ahead of Ipswich.
  18. Didn't I read somewhere that only league matches count towards the averages. If so then there will not be any changes possible until later in the season.
  19. But Cook is on 8.45, Iversen 9.04, Vaculik 8.00, Holder 7.16 & Doyle 9.69.
  20. Just read on the BSI site that Zagar wanted to return but it was unable to be accommodated due to being given a 9.00 average. Why is this? When he last rode in 2016 his average was only 7.48.
  21. I would think it will be either Bjerre or Starke because of the Sheffield connection but my preference would have been Eric Riss but I understand he is fully committed already. Klindt would be ok though.
  22. I'm usually hopeless at predictions but just for the fun of taking part here goes:- 1-Ipswich 2-Glasgow 3-Lakeside 4-Workington 5-Peterborough 6-Sheffield 7-Berwick 8-Scunthorpe 9-Redcar 10-Edinburgh Newcastle ?
