  1. Depends what country you’re going on tbh, Tungate has progressed further on the continent on big wide open fast tracks. Masters far far superior in the uk. Wouldn’t say either is particularly strides ahead of the other really, think masters has better bike skills tho, Tungate is good on big fast tracks because he’s so light and loves the throttle wide open…can’t actually turn the bike tho or adapt to the varying challenges of uk tracks
  2. My point is tho if you signed either you’re not getting a 3 point rider you’re getting a rider that averaged over 4 last seasoN
  3. Heeps average of 4.18 was achieved via him starting higher and sliding drastically downward, it’s only still that high due to meetings still contributing from previous seasons. Hume and mountain both averaged over 4 last season and are only 3.07/3.27 due to the 25% reduction
  4. Heeps and king can’t ride ride any other line tho can they.
  5. Was such a prolonged hotter than normal dry drought last summer, getting the outside line grippy and keeping in the moisture in must’ve been nigh on impossible, don’t think the material or prep has changed too drastically just the weather was hard work all last season
  6. Mountain better than Hume on big tracks, Hume a lot better rider around Foxhall so in terms of ippo the better option imo. interestingly Hume averaged a point more than mountain in championship last season but mountain half a point more in prem…inflated by the home scoring at Sheffield I’d imagine
  7. No thanks, heeps was far worse than Hume in both leagues last year
  8. The long wait surely signifies the club are trying to get a left signing sorted, wouldn’t be this hard to get worrall and batch signed and announced. Could still end up being them if it doesn’t come off of course but the wait suggests Chris is trying for Emil as rumoured or someone else
  9. I mean bomber was announced as signed for panthers the other year and still moved to Ipswich so I would be so sure… can’t fit holder and Emil in anyway hahaha
  10. Exactly!! Pedersen is like a footballer that chooses to leave studs up in challenges, doesn’t need to but just does. Didn’t need to make contact on the way passed there, you can be hard a leave riders on the bike.
  11. Not unless Emil is assessed at 7.00 we have 12.27 left for last two riders
  12. B - more chance of us getting holder at ippo!! jokes aside if all three were back in uk speedway for 2023 that’s only a plus imo, whether they’re past their peak or not
  13. I think if holder was at Ipswich there would be a friendly rivalry between him and Doyley and he’d press on well tbh
  14. I mean irrespective of whether or not there’s any truth to the rumours I think if it means you’re getting Emil, rew starting in the team is perfectly justifiable
  15. Safety standards in Aussie are crazy low, air fence been mandatory over here for how many years now? 15 or more at least hopefully it’s not as serious as first feared and he’s swiftly on the mend
  16. And if they all continue to improve and then in 12-24 months no longer qualify for the rising star scheme and subsequently the opportunities disappear I fail to see how it’s working, if the bspa really wanted to help progress British youngsters from inexperience to their full potential then they’d make team building limit tighter, that way the likes of mountain and Hume would be attractive prospects as a no.6 having graduated from the rising star scheme.
  17. If neither Hume or mountain have a ride in top flight this season from the start then the rising star scheme has completely failed, two young English riders given an opportunity to gain experience in the top flight, take it and both do very well in 2021, now they’re told sorry lads, you did well but now you’re kicked to the kerb because you’re not allowed to ride at no.7 anymore. how is that helping progress their careers in any way?
  18. That’s magic confirmed as not at pboro then
  19. Same here mate, love having a season ticket and not having to find the money every week but just don’t have the money to shell out on one atm, baby on the way April sadly don’t see how I’m going to be able to afford to get along to many meetings next year, tbf likely miss a couple purely down to the newborn anyway so would negate the season ticket saving anyway
  20. Would love to see covatti in a witches suit again one day tbh, pure entertainment
  21. Except it’s only that far under budget due to Hume getting a 25% reduction, real-time achieved averages it wouldn’t fit! So not exactly that weak is it
  22. Pretty sure it does, belle vue team only fits by virtue of Brennan getting 25% rising star graduate discount, so Hume would be 3.07 doyle 10.32 rew 4.00 king 6.41 zagar 7.20 holder 7.16 hume 3.07 thomas r/s 38.16
  23. Can’t see Craig cook being back at Ipswich tbh, finished 2021 with us, was on what looked like a decent average headed into 2022 and his stock has only fallen… having just looked at starting averages given we were 2.1 points under the building limit we could’ve fit cook in last years team in place of any of batch riss or even heeps, so if Louis had seen enough to want him back at the end of 2021 he would’ve done, be amazed after his 2022 season he now wants him, stranger things have happened but would be a shock to me
