Be interesting to see who’s riding in what position on Monday now the new averages are out... Harris goes back to 1 and kennett to reserve, with Heeps moving into the team. based on form I may be tempted to put Heeps at 5....! Lawson likes heat 1 and is a good trapper so stick him at 2, Danny KP 3/4 Heeps 5, rekindle his partnership with Jake riding at 7

I’ve never rated berge, always seemed to have a poor attitude to me on his Foxhall visits over the past few seasons - makes the start in one race and looks a word beater, misses the start and gives up in all the others! Couldn’t understand so many people on the forum raving about him being a potential trump card and people putting him in their team predictions/hopes at many different clubs during the winter

I mean in fairness they have down the years had difficulty with the temporary tracks rutting and holes appearing, but in recent seasons seem to have got producing a decent racetrack down to an art - but very different material used for the indoor tracks to that of one that lives outside exposed to the elements - the material they use for the temp indoor tracks wouldn’t work in the same way in a permanent outdoor setting. i’m not excusing poole’s track it’s frankly been atrocious for years and years now and could easily have been made better, but don’t think the temporary indoor tracks are a good or fair comparison it’s quite different

Naked hot laps, stealing the grading tractor, walking the length of the infield on his hands, handcuffing people to the flagpoles in their pants on their birthdays the list of escapades goes on! Parker was a true character and legend of our sport, get well soon!

King's Lynn v Ipswich 17/06/2019

Yeah can’t disagree that the track was mint and good racing all night, just thought the grading was excessive and the racing could’ve been just as good without nearly as many laps of the tractors! A long way home from Lynn on a Monday night and imo with little stoppages for crashes etc could’ve been home for 11pm rather than 11.40pm and seen just as good a meeting! having seen bomber ride Lynn a few times now in the World Cup and now get a max for us it’s seems mad to me that busters never had him in a Lynn team!? Seems to love the place -

One question for the regular Lynn fans, is there always that much tractor racing? I’ll admit the track was very good last night but the meeting went on somewhat, was all but 10pm by the finish, only ever that late at Foxhall if we have crashes etc throughout -

Ah just in from a great trip up to Lynn, brilliant performance from the witches tonight especially when 8 points down after just 5 races things weren’t looking quite so promising! Shame lawson king and summers weren’t more at the races and we could knicked a win! Surprised at just how poor summers was tbh, I know it’s kerr/lamberts home track but he was nowhere near them, he was never going to be banging points in like jakey but that was beyond poor. As was Lawson, he looked nervous on track tonight to me and bikes didn’t look fast. Lynn would always come strong with lambert and cook late on but what a ride from bomber to have the last laugh in ht15! anyway another 2 points happily gained on the road as the supposed “whipping boys” once again harness the underdog spirit and rise to the occasion can’t wait until we get a meeting where everyone is firing! up the witches! -
In this instance don’t think it can have anything to do with his previous shoulder injuries, just a racing incident that turned into an awful looking crash going into the first turn with tungate, and 1 other, they got hooked and then all went tumbling it a big way - Tobi got a bad knee ligament injury according to Twitter

Lawson 10 r/r bomber 8 kennett 7 king 12 heeps 6 allen 7 50-40 witches to continue to impress keeping last places to a minimum, gradually edging further ahead throughout maybe losing heat advantages in ht13&15 expect only Doyle to beat king, with Lawson to continue to impress, seemed to rise to responsibility of no.1 on his back long may that continue! this is all of course if it’s not a rain off as the forecast suggests it quite easily could be! As you can see above I’m ever the optimist! -
Apologies league not cup yes. otherwise not sure why my post was so funny!? did you read the original question it was in response to!? You know the one saying just for fun now the season underway and we’ve seen who’s going well etc. Starting from scratch who would you pick in your 1-7...? at no point did I suggest bjerre should leave Belle Vue for ipswich. just to be clear tho if buster hadn’t been so tight and told Kenneth he’s not good enough for heat leader money anymore then he’d have been at Peterborough without a doubt and Belle Vue wouldn’t have had a sniff!
-
Perhaps Kenneth Bjerre instead of Schlein? He was pretty special when Belle Vue visited in the cup
-
Not sure I agree with that unless Jake is back 100% fit and back to pre injury form, KP steadily improving at Foxhall and haven’t been able to find a suitable guest for Jake yet....
-
Of course, but I got the impression from our site they weren’t sure how long he was going to be out, if he had a go in Poland today it’s not likely to be a significant period of time
-
KP scored 9 in Poland today so his knee obvs not too serious
-
Haven’t made much to write home about I recent years to add to our rich history no Interestingly tho I remember a couple of seasons ago when sedgmen was getting a load of stick off of witches fans someone tweeted him saying to quit Ipswich and come join a “big club” (can’t remember what their club was) and sedgmen to his credit replied with something along the lines of “who’s a bigger club Ipswich.....gollob, rickardsson, loram, Louis, sanders, hampel.....”
-
Good question, would’ve picked him over bellego from the start personally
-
Gotta have a rider willing to come in that’s the biggest problem - who’s out there now cooks gone to Lynn??
-
Kennett can be superb around Foxhall, and has been in fine form in championship so far this season. I think other than perhaps at Belle vue Eddie is an upgrade all round. Shame for David it’s not worked as he seems a likeable fella but a change had to be made, best of luck in the future David hope you get fixed up elsewhere

Still despite being overwatered it was smooth no potholes you can lose small horse in like on the south coast -

Fair enough, like I said won’t pretend to be a track curator just pondering out loud! dare I say perhaps there’s actually too much material on the track?? which adds to it becoming so tricky and choppy earlier on -

Jensen and perks appear to be superb upgrades for the Swindon team, makes them look very strong now when muesli back fit -

In fairness I was rather impressed with Rohan’s crafty little moves up the inside, nicholls like Harris seemed rather taken aback by the speed Rohan was carrying off of the bends running such a tight line! Not one other rider tried/achieved the same tonight. A good battling performance once again from the witches, Lawson looks to enjoy the pressure of no.1 on his back, impressive wins I ht13&15 which effectively stopped Peterborough gaining a point. bellego scored some important points in the second half of the meeting but was woeful early on - you’d have thought he’s spent enough time now watching people in front of him going faster showing him the lines yet he still seems to ride different lines to everyone else! -

Well that turned out to be b0llux again! Track is shocking - again! Far too loose on the top they’re all just skating across the top like ice in the first turn. Wont process to be knowledgeable in track craft but saw a tweet from a rider can’t remember who last in a discussion about tracks in uk who said needs more clay mixed in so it binds together better - could that be the same for Foxhall??
