  1. No worries bud easily done! Like I said for me cam just isn’t good value even at reserve on that mark! ive got nothing against the lad and still think there’s bags of untapped potential in there, but in any sport raw talent only gets you so far, attitude, application and dedication to being the best athlete you can be play just as big a part of not bigger and for me he’s had several opportunities now and time and time again come up short. To be fair I remember going to mildenhall when he first came over as a 15 year old he was instantly a revelation yet 7 years on how far has he progressed? I would say at 15/16 he looked every bit as special as Robert lambert or dan Bewley and look at where they’ve taken their careers in half the time!
  2. Cams final prem average for wolves 2018 is listed as 4.72 and Nico at Somerset 4.70, despite being dropped before the end of the season surely cams achieved prem average from last year would still be his starting average for this year!?
  3. Please no Heeps, he’s gotta a lot to prove before he deserves another shot at Ipswich imo, especially no we’re back in the top flight! Also surely Nico covatti would be preferrred on basically the same average!? all of the top 5 are formidable at Foxhall though
  4. Very good to be fair, would be a good third heat leader at ipswich
  5. In fairness a long time ago now, but when batchelor joined us for the second half of a season he was superb at foxhall
  6. I think week in week out he would moan about the track being so grippy early on and struggling with it, wore thin after a while
  7. I hope kildemand is riding uk somewhere at least next season, he’s always good entertainment
  8. Very much doubt it, he never really liked the Foxhall track as his home track, I think we’d likely be behind belle vue, Swindon, Poole at least on his preferred destination list, perhaps peterborough too, but I guess it’s not just down to where he wants to be
  9. I’d like to see doyle at no.1 for us next season, always been superb around Foxhall and will score big home and away all year, while I agree it’s good and proven in the last few years to have strength throughout the team you’ve still needed riders that can produce in the big moments towards the end of meetings ie ht13&15 when you need it most. surely being able to boast a world champion in your team will be a good draw through the gates as well!!??
  10. To be fair I was a kid in the 90’s so my concept of how tight it was getting back isn’t going to be great I just thought it was more like 11am and 4.30pm but hey ho! Here’s hoping we do get a good double header!!
  11. Surely that’s a bit tight in terms of travelling between meetings.....it’s a couple of hours between tracks
  12. Thought you had to have a minimum of 4.5 champ average converting to 3 to be eligible to double up to prem!?
  13. Curious tho, perhaps wright can earn more elsewhere than bomber is getting at Somerset....
  14. Good looking team within a tighter points limit imo, Stefan will easily add points to his average picking off weaker reserves and second strings, Josh Bailey is a more accomplished rider than his last stint in the championship and he’ll likely be racing mostly NL opponents at reserve that he knows he can beat already. With 3 good heat leaders, If Jedd List turns out to the the real deal could be the team to beat!
  15. Pleased to see drew go off for a season and gain experience on a big track and learn from someone like steady, look after and enjoy watching him! He’s an absolute gem!
  16. Good move for drew, different type of home track, big and fast and will surely benefit from working with steady
  17. This was my thoughts too, had we continued in a “similar standard to this year championship” I’d have maybe said no to bringing Nico back as just didn’t feel he was a consistent enough 3rd heat leader at that level - but like you said was great for Somerset and when at reserve on the nights where he does go off like a rocket can pick up extra rides! I liked the way Rasmus Jensen went at Foxhall last year and on converted average could come in at 4.39 - another potential trump card, or young josh Pickering on 4.07 always looks good at Foxhall. I would like to see a young Brit in one of the reserve berths though ideally depending on how the teams built and he all the numbers work out
  18. Not sure I’d like to see both as think that would leave us a little exposed at reserve and if/when running r/r but would really like to see either one of Nathan greaves or James Shane’s in a witches jacket next season - thoughts anyone? With covatti on 4.7 and each of them on around 3.2 that’s less than 8 points for your reserves that gets my vote!
  19. Like I said certainly ambiguous - maybe they could use drew on a 4.00 in prem, but Hawkins can be quoted as saying he’s currently ineligible until he has achieved a 4.5 champ average. one would assume this rule and the restrictive points limit in champ is an attempt to create a better distinction in level between the two leagues
  20. Certainly seems ambiguous, from what Hawkins says though you gotta achieve 4.5 in championship and that can then be converted by 1.5 to a prem 3.00 - so potentially using drew as an example once he’s up to 4.5 he could then be brought in somewhere in top league, ironic we were all hoping drew would keep his 2.00 average for this season team building and now ineligible and wish he’d have ridden enough to get an achieves average!
  21. I’d be amazed if king wasn’t nailed on, he has stated he and his surgeon are confident he’ll be ready for March.
  22. Not sure of bomber - don’t think he’s as good around Foxhall as several riders on lower averages...I guess maybe hasn’t ridden there as mich as others while we’ve been in division below, to be honest with the suggestion of Zagar I still had him in my head head as second heat leader behind an out and out no.1 such as doyle
  23. To be fair I see your point on Jarek, still think it’s unlikely, I think we have a good shout at getting doyley if he wants to come, has always gone very well at Foxhall too! for me whatever the team ends up being I just hope it’s built with a view to being unbeatable at home we lost way too many home meetings last year
  24. Yep have to kind of agree - although not sure there’s 4/5 relaistic riders we’ve had ride for us before I’d for sure wanna to see in a top flight team.......who do you have in mind!?
