How bad are the road works mentioned in Speedway Star folks?

Sincere condolences to Bryns family, enjoyed when he used to wind up us away supporters over the PA, great memories RIP

Wishing all speedway supporters a very Happy New Year with no rain offs and a safe season for all the riders A'Ra'Best all

Congrats to the Rebels (and their flags) and commiserations to the Yorkshire Tiggers & guests (great effort)

Jings, I posted on the Newcastle thread last night by mistake..... Lucky I didn't get my head chewed off!!! Better late than never..... Congrats to the Tiggers and commiserations to Newcastle. Hope Danny is ok

sorry, wrong thread..... ("Embarrassed smiley!!!")

Or if they were one of the riders fighting for the top 8

Good post (although I removed a bit) IMO It is a fact that Speedway and the sponsored riders would find life a lot harder without Joe & Monster. Their investment must be enormous and Joe does seem totally committed, love him or not

Good luck to all, safe meeting and may the best team win over the two meetings. I know who I want to win but I don't want to jinx them

Taken from Monarchs Chatzone (I'm afraid I'd lost interest by then) Ht 13 S Worrall, S Lawson, R Worrall, K Wolbert Ht 15 R Worral, A Summers, E Riss, S Worrall F/ex No problem here..... Max was wiped out by "friendly fire" and his bike was damaged too. The suggestion came from a supporter

So sad that such a great GP will be talked about and remembered for all the wrong reasons...... Congratulations to Chris Holder on a great win and commiserations to Jason Doyle (my series "winner") Plenty of entertainment from all the guys trying to stay in or get into the top 8 (speedway out of Kelvin's top drawer) 2016 revelation....... Bartosz Zmarzlik !!! Well done that man

Hearty good wishes to all at Berwick, terrific news!!!

So it's Goodbye 2016 (thankfully) and bring on 2017

I'm glad I'm not a betting person ...... Hats off to the Yorkshire Tiggers Get well soon to Coty, really nice lad

Dan broke his collar bone mountain biking..... I guess his balance is still out of kilter Get well soon lad

Good luck to all the pairs, esp Max & Ashley. Safe out, safe home all

I was at Plymouth once when the lights went off during a race (scary!) and a few more times after that.... It was a long night too. Huge praise to the vast majority of the big crowd last night who were totally aware of the efforts being made and were very patient and understanding. No-ones fault and just the final kick in the teeth for our 2016 problems. I will not be sorry to see the end of it!!!

Congratulations to Wolverhampton Champions and commiserations to Belle Vue, who won the battle but lost the war

Very sad news, fingers x'd it will all work out for you Plymouth fans

Well done to Ipswich, I'm gutted but we'll be back. Good luck to the finalists, may the best team win

"Pencilled" can be rubbed oot!!!

Highlight of last night was seeing Cookie in action "at home" again. His interview was emotional and returning the fastest time of the season in ht 5 - superb!

Well done Ipswich, that was embarrassing to watch

I'd like a safe, entertaining meeting for all and an Edinburgh win, or at least keep it close please

You can all have your moan about the place you call "Armadump" (among other things) but to us it is home, it's all we've got, and we love it ...... Much better than the "alternative" ...... Nowt!!!
