  1. The grandstand is easy to estimate, each block holds 300 there, the middle 3 blocks were nearly full plus all the people up in Peter Craven suite so thats about 900 so are you saying there was less then 300 in south stand? Can at least double that, so minimum 1500.
  2. It was disappointing crowd but it was probably bad timing with schools going back this week and live on TV. But you are talking rubbish, there was about 1000 just in grandstand, i’d say in total it was about 1700.
  3. Heat 10, Tungate & Riss fell first bend, clear 1st bend bunching which ref also said, for some reason Masters was gesturing to referee and when he got back to pits gate he started having a go at Riss, words were exchanged looked like Masters pushed Riss and Riss threw a punch, Masters was straddled over his bike and he fell over his bike, was quickly split up.
  4. No sh!t Sherlock, one word Bewley! He is irreplaceable, was scoring far higher then his average, R/R scored 5 points from 2 meetings, Bewley would have scored at least 18 if not more. Of course any team is going to pick Belle Vue as we are severely weakened!
  5. Because you are not opening your gates till 7pm, would have been bit tight getting everyone in in 30 minutes
  6. SRBF collection, and after what has just happened to Dan Bewley is quite important, not a tight turnaround doesn’t start till 8.00pm tonight!
  7. Plenty of official parking off Kirkmanshulme Lane (£3) plus street parking and unofficial car parks at Showcase and Bingo. For food there is hotdogs, burgers, pies, pastys and chips. But if getting there early I recommend you go up to the Peter Craven Suite through glass doors and have brunch : https://bellevueaces.co/news/2018/8/22/bank-holiday-brunch
  8. Dan Bewley had a very bad crash at Workington tonight
  9. Nicholls passed riders in ONE race at Leicester, heat 13. He actually passed more riders at the NSS on Monday it's just that they passed him back again!
  10. Riss away averaging 4.57, Etheridge 2.73, he is doing what he was brought in to do, we didn't really need him to score any more tonight and he rode a lot better then his score suggests, so buzz off as no one is interested in you constant rubbish.
  11. Lambert can guest at home as you get the extra 5% at home
  12. Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces: Craig Cook, Steve Worrall, Dan Bewley, Rohan Tungate, Max Fricke (C), Mark Riss, Dimitri Berge; TM: Mark Lemon Leicester ‘Watling JCB’ Lions: Hans Andrsen (C), Ricky Wells, Charles Wright, Stuart Robson, Scott Nicholls, Connor Mountain, Josh Auty; TM: Simon Stead What happened to the Starke & Howe changes?
  13. We are 1 point ahead of Swindon now in points gained away vs home points lost
  14. Belle Vue win at Somerset! What a difference couple of days make and a decent track!
  15. Well done Leicester on winning the gating competition! Apart from heat 13 every other race could have been called after the 2nd bend.
  16. Bringing in Riss was the right decision but it should have been for Drozdz! Riss for away form and Etheridge for home form, now need to replace Drozdz in next couple of days.
  17. Yes I said all along it should have been him not Etheridge that was replaced. Hopefully tonight will be the final straw and he will be replaced before Monday.
  18. Yes we deserved a point as the score should have been 47-43, yes Tungate and Drozdz let us down but if the referee can’t do a simple thing like declare the result of 2 races correctly, a Kings Lynn fan (Bagpuss) and a neutral have both said they were declared wrong. The DVD should be sent to the SCB, the score won’t be amended now but there should be a statement about Tony Steele performance and should be removed from officiating.
  19. Tony Steele either blind as a bat or bent. Heat 1 Worrall beat Riss by at least a bike length and ref called it other way, the centre green presenter had to apologise as he already announced it as 5-1. Heat 15 Fricke passes Lambert on the line by half a bike and again Steele calls it wrong. Cost the Aces a point there.
  20. Although unlikely, BV wont be out of it, they have a lot of away meetings coming up with 2 at Swindon very important especially if Swindon drop any other home points.
