£25 for back straight, and as SON tickets website says it’s currently 20% sounds like it could go up more on that day! -

Ban ends on Monday 4th, but that only effects domestic meetings anyway. -

Belle Vue Aces Vs Leicester Lions 28/5 /18

Yes it wasn’t even close, I don’t write it in my programme if it’s close but I did last night and had to change it! -

What a difference in 2 meetings, first one had big score difference but passing in nearly every heat. 2nd one was fairly close score but we had to wait till heat 13 for a single pass, and what a good heat that was, with Fricke passing both Leicester riders despite King having a massive roller at the start, and then Riss passed Bjerre off last bend to beat him by at least half a bike length and the referee gave it to Bjerre! Tony Steele from Leicester was so biased, we had earlier Andersen taking Riss’ leg away causing Riss to fall yet Riss was excluded, multiple jump starts and bizarre decision when Bewley caused himself and Fricke both to fall the ref excluded Fricke! -

Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 21st May 2018

Can’t believe anyone would think Garrity would do that on purpose, it was a nasty crash, Garrity and Andersen locked together going into first bend and Garrity went down very heavily head first and was clearly knocked out for few seconds as lay motionless. -

Are you saying that Garrity did it on purpose under Lemon’s orders? The fact that Garrity has been in hospital all night and is having an operation this morning. -

It was a good one but someone needs to tell Lambert the track is so wide and so many racing lines there is no need to put one rider into the fence and try and put the other rider on the centre green! -

Heat 14 lineup was a strange one as also Belle Vue didn’t use a tactical ride either when they could have done although didn’t make a difference as got 5-1 anyway. -

Good see there finally some positive comments about the great racing rather then the crowd size. Just realised R/R for Worrall only got 2+1 -

And I don’t care what an old man thinks watching through his misted up glasses on an SD television. -

Don’t talk bollox, each block in grandstand holds 300, there is 2 full blocks just over so that’s 600+. And about 300 or so on back straight. Not great but not as bad as we feared for TV meeting but over 500 less then last year’s average crowds. -

£18 standing, no one forcing you to sit in grandstand and BTW it’s £21 for normal grandstand seat and £24 for premium seats and it’s always the premium seats that sell out first which shows price isn’t always the problem. -

They haven’t run as many training days as they had hoped as the stadium is run by the council, apparently this is difficult. There has been some though and the new GB setup had 2 days at NSS few weeks ago training the young riders : -

Last year it was compulsory £10 set by BSPA/BT, that’s not happening this year although nothing to stop clubs trying it. It does help bring in bigger crowds for TV meetings but long term not sure about then benefit. Lakeside famously did free entry few years ago and got huge crowd then the following week it was back to normal. Its all about getting people coming back each week, since Belle Vue moved to NSS and mainly Friday nights the crowds have gradually increased over the last 2 years, but this year they have dropped right back down again with change of race night. -

Yes and at supporters meeting before the season the owners said they were losing lot of money last year and needed more people coming and this year it’s even worst.
